With this spineless, pathetic and damn right self important snozzcumbers, then there is every chance we go down again. They have no motivation for the club or their teammates. Pathetic. Absolutely unprofessional and extremely disrespectful

Now that was a typical Vards goal. CB didn't know what hit him Oh how we miss this geezer
-
I so wanted him to succeed, but he's making us worse. But I think the main problem is the players.

Players signed last season to help us in the pursuit of safety from the premier League, bar Okoli, didn't start nor made an impact when they came on against a poor championship side. Let that sink in. -

Positional sense of wet paint. Why was he always at the back post on every corner, with one cross he was looking the opposite. He's proving to be a useless sprog -
Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD

I thought Vesty was the only one in the team that had an ounce of composure. James was a spark. Rest are rudderless douchebags that'll still get paid and Kristiansen was either injured for the second or just didn't give a tripe. Before that he got pushed off the ball then just stood there. My word this team is a disgrace -
The players are douchebags and clearly don't want to play for the team. Spineless bunch with no leadership on that pitch, no one taking responsibility and we have 2 and half strikers that can't score a goal!!! This is a mess Relegation must be a major concern now. Get Morgan and Huth in that dressing room to wake them up and show what leadership is and what it's like to take responsibility

This is bigger than the manager. He's only part of the problem. Players are spinless and don't want to be here, people making management decisions are clueless etc....

I absolutely hate this team. Nothing else to say. Vesty was the only player with some composure. -

Realistic Managerial Replacements
fox_favourite replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Robbie Savage. Honestly, sacking a manager isn't going to solve our problems. Same players and same recruitment team looking for a replacement. Nothing will change. This is bigger than Marti, and honestly, time for Rudders (at least) to go and get a proper football person in! -
Millwall 1-0 LCFC, post-match thread

Mentality of the players is wrong, that is the main issue. I think some are of the opinion they're better than the championship. Also we have a very weak team physically. For some premier League players this isn't good enough -
If Pearson took over this team the time he was here, he would rip it apart and get rid of the bad eggs. Similar to when he got rid of Mills and Beckford and brought in a Forest reject (is what I thought at the time). He built the team on character and work rate as well as talent, I wish we could go back to that model. Maybe it doesn't exist in modern football. I went to the event last week with Huth, Morgan, Sharky and Simmo, it was evident they loved the fact they all had the same work ethic and were a team. Now we have fractured squad with most with the wrong attitude, and it really annoys me.

Millwall (A) 15:00 Sat 25th, Pre-Match
fox_favourite replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
2-0 Millwall. Poor defending and Millwall isolating our wingers to stifle our attacking options. Whoever plays as a striker won't offer anything attacking wise so Millwall's defence have a straight forward day. We make subs and bring on Skipp and co and we get no further. -
Sacking him won't solve our issues fully. We are a broken club from the top. The people to blame are the people who have recruited Cooper, RvN and Marti. As it stands, it looks like they have made 3 bad decisions in a row, and the faith they'll get it right next time is near to 0 as you can get. I like Marti, and I really want him to turn it around, but if we do sack him, we'll be starting again for the umpteenth time and I'm fed up with it. One issue is the poor recruitment of strikers over the years. We need a goalscorer so we're not relying on our wingers who are easily isolated. With no threat in the box, we are easy to play against, Marti hasn't got that. This is more than just sacking a manager issue, that is short sighted and easy option. The real rot is much, much deeper and I can't see that changing anytime soon, in fact I can see it getting worse. So I will give him more time as we really haven't got much other options and I do want him to succeed. Considering all 3 relegated clubs are struggling shows how poor we were last season and that we belong in this poor league.

I'm going to that as well -
One key ingredient we are missing is a strong and a threat as the striker. None have that presence at the club, shows how reliant we were on a certain striker for so many years. There is potential in this team, but we rely on wingers for attacking intent as our strikers are not up to it. When that happens your output becomes isolated and be stopped. We need Ramsey to step up as well in the 10.

With this lot, we would get slaughtered if we went up, probably worse than than last season.

Shows just how poor we, Ipswich and Southampton were last season. We have all disappeared in the norm of this league pretty well. None of us standing out. Years of Poor recruitment, club management is showing from us and Saints. I was expecting Ipswich to run away with this league, but their confidence and swagger has ran dry. I've been impressed by Middlesbrough and Cov so far and fair play to them.
