I would say Marti is better than Ruud as he sees when things need changing and does it. Ruud stood there with the empty brain look. Marti is being let down by the players that are either lazy, not bothered and lack enthusiasm so his tactics are falling apart as it relies on being on the front foot and pressing. We looked decent in preseason and looked structured, but just with some work. But some players have given up already and that isn't helping. New players will help massively but he's come at the wrong time and getting anyone in seems a pipe dream. Some young talented players who want to prove they are good enough is what we need on loan. He's only come back from a major operation and hasn't really played in pre season, so it was harsh to throw him straight in. West Ham fans don't like him already, going on last night. Feel for him as he was so good for us until his injury.

The glaring weakness is CM, ACM (when Bilal goes) and striker. We should have enough in defence. CM is my most concern. soumare is lazy and plays like he's smoked something before games, Winks is a grumpy bum but at least he tries when he plays and Skipp is just, well, nothing. We need a box to box midfielder who can score goals and a proven striker at this level. Shame both cost money but there has to be a loan to be had...he says hopefully. Who would have thought there would be a season where we are outspent by Wrexham a few years ago

I personally wouldn't be expecting to see Bilal or Faes in the team. It'll be an interesting lineup, but one weaker then what we put out against Sheffield Wednesday, which is concerning. We are so unstable at the minute with so many players leaving/rumours of players going that it'll be hard for Marti to know where he is. Still going for a 2-1 Charlton win as they are the opposite of us. But it makes me so annoyed to think that.

At least the west ham players are still trying, unlike our bunch against Preston.

His defence hasn't helped, but I really feel for him. He's had a stinker, I thought he'd do alright there. His injury really has broken him. He was excellent before that.

What the actual fish? There is delusional, then there's that!! 1. Forest are not a top 6 club. They've only done it once 2. Nuno over achieved and did brilliantly and deserves another season 3. I think you may have misunderstood. Im not expecting a replacement right away, but with the money we have raised (not just Bilal alone), I would expect someone coming in, even a loan or a free transfer. But to sell all our players with a book value that people will pay and not replacing them, while also keeping the squad competitive will be very hard. We need a fresh face with enthusiasm to play for the club. You're right we do need a reset, but there are ways to do it. I would expect someone to come in before deadline, but I'm not expecting us to splash the cash, as like you say we need to start complying with PSR.

Watching the 'preparation video' on the official page, there is no enthusiasm or banter, it's all silent and no laughing. There isn't any team spirit there at all. That is another issue.

In all seriousness, this seems very left field transfer for both clubs. Does he improve Ipswich? But he does weaken our options. I like the lad his work rate is there, he just needs to find his form a bit as he's a bit inconsistent

Of course it's possible, it's football. Should it happen? No. Like others have said we have players that just don't want to be here and the quality of the squad is falling every time we sell a player. If we don't get loans in at least, then I do fear for a hard season, but we should mid table at least. Anything lower and the club is more of a mess than we think. Any where near relegation again and we are on Sheffield Wednesday territory
