Everyone calling for him to go need to realise we’d be stuck with a starting midfield of Soumare and Skipp with Hamza as a backup. Horrific. There’s no way the club will have someone lined up to replace Winks if he does go - those clowns don’t think that far ahead. Yes, he’s been a sulky cuņt, but he’s literally our best midfielder. If he doesn’t want to spend one night at Seagrave, fuċk it, who cares? The club need to do what we can to get the best out of our best players. On his day, he’s the best midfielder in the division. We need to get him playing his best football for us and brush all that other shit to one side.

Can’t be blaming him 2 league games into the season. But, if we’re not going to sign players - and it certainly looks that way, he needs to find a way to galvanize the team spirit and get us playing a certain way that aligns to the limited talent and minimal physicality we have. He has an almost impossible job on his hands if the expectation is an immediate return to the prem.

I think he’d suit playing behind 2 strikers - rather than Daka running around aimlessly. He’s clearly lost his electric pace since that horrific injury. But he’s young. Hopefully he can get some minutes and build his confidence and speed back up.
