Who cares

I didn’t renew, and I’m not missing it one bit. I’ve been going since the late 80s, had a season ticket since 1992. I’ve watched us under the likes of Pleat, Levein, Bassett, Allen, Megson, Holloway, Sousa and NEVER have I felt like this about the club and the players. I’m apathetic when we score, I don’t care much when we concede. It really is dire and I can’t see how it gets any better for a few more years yet. How did it come to this? I went to the legends evening last week and you could really tell just how bad Danny Simpson and big Wes feel about what the club is these days, too. What a wasted opportunity. The decline is nothing short of a disgrace and there is literally no coverage of it in the media, either.

Is Aluko a left back? If so, chuck him in please because the current one and his back up are abysmal. The Nelson one is weird- so highly rated by the Oxford Manager yet Marti does not seem a fan at all.

I agree with a lot of this. We do have a very stale bunch of players here, many of them don’t want to be here themselves and the majority of fans can’t stand watching them, either (Soumare, Faes, Daka, Vestergaard etc). The fact that Ben Nelson can’t get on the bench is laughable. The fact Luke Thomas has started every league game is hideous, he’s the worst defender at the club. Marti’s team selections have been really questionable but I just don’t know what the answers are to most positions as we just don’t have a very good squad. Monga every time I see him just looks way too young to be consistently starting games at this level. He’s just a kid. I’m not sure chucking a load more youngsters in there based on how he’s looked is the answer either.

Worst full back we’ve ever had. My Dad has been watching since early 60s and agrees. How ANYONE can think he’s strong enough, attacking enough, brave enough, skilful enough needs their head testing. Neat and tidy left footer but nothing more. Embarrassing he’s our first choice LB,

Counts for nothing- he could have stopped the goal which meant we drew the game rather than won it. The top players work hard for every minute of the game. Amazing how low our standards have fallen for what we as a fan base see as acceptable from these players.

His positioning and lack of pace here is diabolical. How anyone can say he’s a good player at this level is beyond me

He’s one of the most limited players I’ve ever seen play for us. He can’t attack, can’t run with the ball, he’s weak, poor in the air. A nice left foot yes but seriously, is this the best we have these days? Depressing

1) Peter Taylor Dismantled a very good side in a matter of months to ruin the club 2) RVN Oversaw some of the worst records in top flight football. A total embarrassment 3) Brendan Rodgers Picked Danny Ward and Daniel Amartey for months on end, thus relegating us. How on earth do you take a side down who had Barnes, Maddison, Tielemans, Castagne and Vardy in it
