  1. Winks fully at fault though.
  2. Now that's a game of Shag-Marry-Kill I want no part of
  3. Perhaps with the club opening their own temporary (now permanent?) shop in the highcross, JC is no longer viable?
  4. If every single match-going fan bought a shirt, that'd be just shy of £2million in revenue (32k*£60). Lots of fans dont buy the new shirts every year, and whilst we will have some fans buying shirts who dont go to games it won't be a huge number - its only the top, top clubs which shift shirts en masse to a wider audience. So on balance ~30k is probably a fair estimate. That's revenue, mind. Profit will be a fair bit lower (although I imagine its a very hefty margin). The right sponsorship deal will likely bring in more than that*, especially as we're going to be on TV a ridiculous number of times this season. 8 of our first 9 games will have a TV audience. Sponsors will want the fans' shirt to be the same as the players', and especially so in the launch promo materials. Knowing our club, though, some intern probably forgot to schedule the social media launch and we'll end up finding out by someone seeing it quietly go live in the online store (but in the wrong section). *And it only needs to bring in more than the deficit in sales from a delayed launch, anyway
  5. I'd be interested to know what goes through the head of the <10% people who are engaged enough to join in with the survey, but somehow blind to the way the club is being run... Overall, sounds like a really promising step forward from the Trust, and hopefully the webinar continues that. As others have alluded to, directly and publicly inviting representatives of the club (the board, the fan engagement team, even the FAB) to join and watch would go a long way towards rebuilding some faith (or conclusively the opposite effect if its rejected).
  6. That's devastating. Just like that. RIP. Thoughts are with his wife and kids, and rest of his family.
  7. Not sure why you brought up Pride in relation to the quoted post, but FWIW there's definitely members within Foxes Pride - several on here who I've spoken to - who have been vocal their grievances at the way that the group (and on a larger scale, the club) is run, and in particular how certain individuals seemingly are more interested in freebies/player meets (or a place on the FAB...) etc than actually running a group representative of the LGBT fanbase. Foxes Pride can sometimes feel similar to how the Trust used to be, and how the club as a whole is, in that its more about the those at the top than the fans/community they actually represent. I've largely stopped going to FP meets, I know others have done the same as well.
  8. It was going so well until it cut to the t-shirt guy without warning at double the volume and shocked the life out of me through my headphones
  9. You'd think he'd be giving them more useful information if he was at least slightly comparable to Max, but I'm not sure how much help he can be from the back of the grid each week when Verstappen is up against the Mclarens every race.
  10. And then a massive BCGame sponsor slap bang in the middle, knowing us...
  11. That really sums it up for him. Literally throws the game away with a wide to end it
  12. Fingers crossed - weakens one of our rivals next season...
  13. Give them some credit, it's not just Swansea they look at. They've decided that rather than just the unwanted players at Southampton, we'll have the unwanted manager too. 😂
  14. I wouldn't say its the Pearson generation. I'd say that ended around the same time that Shakespeare left the club (RIP Shakey) in late 2017 - we'd had the title and the champions league run, the title-winning side and staff had mostly started to depart and we were starting a rebuild. However it is the first time since 2008 that I don't feel like there's really a 'talisman' at the club - in any capacity - now that Vardy is gone. Pearson, Vardy, Ranieri, Vichai, Schmeichel have all been that, but there's not really anyone prominent in the squad/board (ha)/management who fits the bill anymore. Probably why so many have felt apathetic towards the club this season, but still felt compelled to turn up yesterday for JV (myself included). King is around, but as backroom staff he's not really on the forefront. Even Shakey had much more of a presence to the fans when he was assistant.
  15. Haven't used my ticket myself since February - it's a long trek down from Manchester when it's been this bad for this long - so been passing the ticket on to family where possible. Making the effort for this one, purely to be there for Vardy's send-off. Hopefully see some more of Monga/Evans too.
  16. Just what we need, more nepotism...
  17. Money. The answer is always money. Which is ironic now that most notes are made of plastic themselves.
  18. Hermansen / BEK the only ones I'd say have been 'good' on the whole. Which says a lot when a keeper who's kept ONE clean sheet is one of your best players. Couple others have shown positive intent and in this disaster of a season have been moderately OK, and I wouldn't be disappointed for them to stick around. Ricardo, Thomas, Stolarcyzk, Okoli, McAteer, Mavididi Feels harsh to lump the academy players in with the rest of the squad, and can't really judge 15 year olds on bit-part appearances at the end of a season. Fatawu looked decent before injury, Buonanotte was OK but on loan, Coulibaly basically hasn't played. Vardy is Vardy. Rest are crap.
  19. Easy solution is to just make it so they're not required fields... Sure, you'll still get some people voting at random even though they dont have to, but better than the current setup
  20. Stupid that every category is required, and they're all bundled together. Arguably no 'good' answer for the mens votes, and it's not fair on the women's vote. I would've put down an obvious p-taking vote for Soumare/Skipp/etc, but don't want to negatively affect the women's EOS vote, so just wont vote instead.
