So basically the gap between the bigger teams and smaller teams widens even more… well done FFP 👏🏻 But teams like Villa, Newcastle…. Theres no way they’ve been able to sign all those players and pay the wages without breaking FFP. Main source of income (for FFP purposes) is TV revenue so not hugely different to us. What the others do os give themselves huge sponsorship deals to make our their income is more, pay consultancy fees on top of wages etc etc

Surely every other team is guilty of FFP breaches. Chelsea, Newcastle, Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Forest, Villa etc etc theyve all spent big… we’ve actually had a decent income due to player sales. Maybe it’s the wages? But I don’t see how we are any worse than others. Maybe the difference is we are actually honest when it comes to the accounts

Still think he’ll struggle in the Prem and cost us points. 75k a week should get us a better center half than Vesty

He’s 4th choice now. Unless we get injuries I doubt we’ll see much of him. Will be gone in the summer anyway. Never hit the heights for us we expected

To be fair the amount of space the stoke midfield give us here is criminal

Daka has done enough in the last couple of months to be considered our No1 striker. Fair play to him as well as he seemed completely written off at one stage. Get rid of Kelechi- he’s been underwhelming and is out of contract anyway. I can see Daka getting another 10-15 goals between now and the end of the season. Strikers are confidence players and it’s the first time he’s been high on confidence since we signed him.

The issue I see with the style of play we won’t be able to play like that against over 50% of teams in the Prem. Similar to Burnley last season they walked the league with a similar style and struggling in the Prem. We have the highest wage budget in Championship history, most of our players are far too good for this league. I understand the frustrations from Enzo but saying things like he will leave isn’t good form from him. Should keep things like that in private. We’ll know how good he is as a manager next season more than This. But already making comments like the above suggests to me he won’t be here that long; and the first decent offer he’ll probably be off.

Bad move for us, bad move for KDH. They are a few player sales away from being relegation fodder again.

Can’t wait to see who Maresca signs in the summer to replace Vesty. He can pass the ball but don’t rate him as a defender, especially if we go up. Someone like John Stones

IMO we looked more threatening when we attacked with Daka than Cannon. Dakas pace causes defences problems and that gives Fatz and Mavi more space

We should focus on Patson this season. Kel is going to leave as he’d have signed a new deal by now and Vards is near the end. Daka is a top player we should persist with him as No1 striker

Wouldn’t surprise me if he plays all 3. Like Pep does and play a CB left back. In possession we are pretty much a back 3 anyway with Ricardo going in midfield. Possibly Coady in the LB position.

He’s been good this season, possibly the best CB in the championship so far. But let’s not forget he’s also probably the highest paid CB in the championship so he should be up their anyway
