Possibly yes, but we might be trying to get the most out of every million.

I like Yunus. Honest player. He was absolutely knackered when those chances fell to him - just didn’t have enough gas in his tank left to beat the last defender. Could he do a job in the Prem for us? It’s possible, but money will be tight and he’s not a stand out option.

Is there a Red Sea in Barnsley?

You’re thinking Moses mate.

He was like a graceful giraffe galloping up the pitch last night. If that sink had gone in - scenes.

Hamza, despite a few off pitch errors of judgement, has been superb this season. He has adapted under Enzo, curbed his wildness to an extent and looks a proper player now. That is some accolade, amongst many, for Enzo.

Does it though? One swallow does not make an egg basket. Yesterday was a gritty and, at times, great performance. We did show mental strength and we dug in. That could be the spur we very much needed. I think the next few games will tell the tale. -

Well yes, obviously, but where’s the fun in that sensible post? Are you an accountant? -

And some 🔔 end said before the game that Fats needed dropping because he was shit 🤣🤣🤣 Terrific performance. Some better finishing and that could have been 5-6 nil. That’s quite something. -

Fairly even game. Some good chances for both teams. Some dodgy passing out from the back from us. They look like they could go up a heat, we really don’t. -

Hmm. Remember last game? -
A longer opinion piece. Nice. Have to disagree. I think the lad is tremendous and has played exceptionally well. Wingers have off games or parts of games. The team has been a bit iffy. He’s been one of our better performers.
-
Well that’s certainly an opinion.
-
Yes you can. Loads of strikers have.
-
Assist, perfectly good goal chalked off wrongly last night and missed a sitter. Not bad at all. He’s a great player.

Ipswich on queue

I really should learn. Apologies.

millwall are doggo. The Southampton cruiser seems holed beneath the waterline.

Nope it was clear as day a perfectly timed challenge and only after contacting the ball did the opposition player clatter into Ricardo’s legs. -

Yes I hope so I really do. Although I wasn’t about the Leeds game was I? Despite plenty jumping on what I said. For what’s its worth I think we will squeak up but not by a huge margin. -

What I’m seeing here is a lot of people with the same level of complacency endemic last season. We were too good to go down. We’re too good not to go up. Most of the game yesterday we were by far the better side. Terrible officiating aside, we should have put it to bed. The real test comes in the next game. Win that and we can start to build some momentum again. However, my concern is that the fragility I feared still remains in the team and that will become ever more obvious as the season enters the final straight. Again, hope I’m wrong, but we will see.
