Not seen much ‘hate’. I’m not sure questioning his ability as a player is hate. So far he has been very poor in almost all aspects of his game. Is he trying too hard? I postulated that earlier. Lack of confidence? I don’t think anyone expects him to be the finished product, but I think they do expect him to look like he knows how to play and where to be - putting in the odd tackle and being a bit more robust might be good too. He’s a big lad.

Brilliant league mate. A lot more fun than the god forsaken promised land will be next season that’s for sure - IF we get promoted.

Do your eyes work mate? Or do you just take Wiki’s as gospel? You can see it. It is obvious. He’s not going to be a top talent, simple as that.

Well well, where are the naysayers? I thought Canon was rubbish? Well, according to some. One full game and what a performance. Wasn’t complete. Some of his movement wasn’t as good as Daka. However, his two goals were taken exceptionally well, instinctive. That shows me that he is a real talent. He was quick and strong. Two different goals both displaying exciting technique and ability. I think we may have an absolute gem on our hands.

I think he’s trying too hard but I also think he’s not really a natural footballer. Everything he does seems forced. Has to line his whole body up before he passes and has to pass dead straight. Drifts about aimlessly. Is usually in the wrong place at the wrong time. He’s slow as I’ve said before, of body and mind. Just cannot see this superstar he was billed as potentially being. Still, he’s young, far from home, has a good manager, a good team around him, so maybe he will improve. I certainly hope so. I hate writing any player off too soon, but I have my doubts here.

Winning is not boring. Being mullered every week is boring. Having nothing but mid table mediocrity to look forward to is boring. Doffing our caps again to the teams we’re briefly disrupted is boring. I actually like sailing in HMS Piss The League.

He’s some player for sure. We need to sign him.

I mean the efforts some go to to blame Daka for everything is hysterical - you know? 🤣 looks like we’re trying to manage a 1-0. Hope Enzo absolutely smashes them halftime and they come out like rampant badgers.

Nice try, but that has been proven over and over during the years. Sometimes, when you’ve watched more football than the manager and coaching staff, you just know. He will be playing that much is true, but I can’t see it being overly successful.

I mean that’s fair. I always like to give players a chance, but Casadei is trying my patience. To be honest he can’t be as absolutely shite as he’s been so far. Maybe he’ll come good, but in my eyes it’s a long way back to the borders of redemption.

It’s not just in front of goal. I think many of us have seen enough players over the years to know that this guy is never going to be a top player. He’s hardly even average. He’s slow of body and mind. He has little positional sense. Can’t tackle. Control is suspect. Passing is off more than on. Just weak. Other than that the lad is cracking.

I think we have more than that in reality.

I think he’s switched off and moved on in his head. He is an absolutely unbelievable player on his day and SHOULD fit this system almost perfectly. He just doesn’t seem bothered and a couple of times last night he could have chased balls but just gave up. Sums him up at the moment. Unless his attitude changes I would just drop him even from the bench. Every substitution last night made us worse - even in terms of energy on the pitch.

Have to say I was wrong about Itchy. Thought he’d be an asset this season but he has looked bobbins. Slow, disinterested and lazy. Daka IS the future currently.

Robbed of a stonewall penalty. Casadei is an anti footballer, no idea of position and game flow - just appalling. We lost control of the game because our midfield disappeared. Nacho was just Nacho - not worth his place on the pitch. Still, no real damage done. We move on.

Not bad. Couple of poor passes and decisions, but really that’s just nit picking. Could of had a couple more. Likely will 2nd half. All good.

Thing is with Hawkeye, the ball is either in or it’s out. It’s not like that with football. Way too many variables and much is open to interpretation as the human element cannot easily be removed. For Ai to work you would have to have a set of pretty much set in stone rules and guidelines for it to work from, and football isn’t like that. Offside yes, ball crossing the line yes - everything else no.
