  1. If he plays like he did in the last game, which statistically is the best performance of any of our forwards this season, then I’ll happily be stuck with him. Honestly, some people 🤪
  2. Again, as I said pre season when others were advocating selling the lad, it would be madness. He’s a Leicester lad. He has been successful in the Championship and knows the ropes. Was an absolute no brainer that he should stay. He has been great most games, not flawless, but an enormous asset. He seems to be improving in many areas under Enzo and is more than worth his place in this squad.
  3. You see there are people on FT who will moan about Daka no matter what he does. There were people wanting Ndidi gone. Vesty gone etc etc. takes all sorts I guess. On the flip side there are those who think Daka could actually be quite good, given game time. I’ve watched every game this season and that was one of the better performances by our loan striker so far. Personally I’d be for giving the lad an extended run, but that’s Enzo’s decision. Vardy is in serious decline and sometimes appears, well, a bit shit if I’m honest. Nacho, for whatever reason, appears half arsed at best he’s occasionally good but more often frustrating. Maybe it’s time to give Daka a run and just see what he can do, rotated with Canon or the other two. Can’t hurt can it.
  4. Wouldn’t be a stretch to say Plymouth could be winning this. We’ve been sloppy at both ends. More clinical and we could be 3/4 up, but equally we could be 1-3 down. Good in patches absolute shite in others.
  5. Lad will leave us for £60-£70 million in a year or two.
  6. Let’s be honest, we’re not going to fire the canon are we? As for the rest who knows.
  7. Good result. Lucky to be honest. Just not creating enough and that will catch up with us.
  8. Had a long time to reflect on this now and evaluate our performance. We were still shit.
  9. Interesting Dr. I was thinking more of his use as a Napoleonic artillery piece and his possible effectiveness in a Waterloo type situation, where an inability to fire the correct munitions would essentially render the piece useless.
  10. I can see issues now. Far from improving and going up the gears we’ve gone backwards and our polenta have learnt from the Leeds game. Swashbuckling risks at the back, where it can and will hurt us, but negative risk averse attacking. It’s odd. Possession for possessions sake is not it and never will be the way. It seemed we were being more progressive earlier in the season. Funny thing, we’ve seen us storm away early season only to collapse after Christmas. Are we a month or so early? I'm concerned.
  11. You know it’s coming. I mean, this is FT. Another defeat and the knives will be twinkling like fairy lights.
  12. The lad has either lost all confidence or he is as crap as he seems. I’m leaning towards the latter. Slow of movement, thought and execution. Has an uncanny ability to be in the wrong place almost every time. Useless.
  13. Either has no balls or he’s firing blanks. We need someone with a bit of drive and enthusiasm.
  14. Agreed. I wasn’t really suggesting the CB route, more that we need more dimension to our play. Sure have your style and system, but don’t be afraid to mix it up and for god sake start taking risks at the top end of the field like they do in defence.
  15. Lot of mixed opinion in this thread. He has a great engine. He keeps going. Sometimes he’s mustard, sometime he’s Mayo. Puts in a shift and tries, but what has he actually got to work with? Don’t ever seem to have a forward attacking the spaces and providing a target. Just had to stop and come back usually.
  16. You have to ask? Obviously only if you’re a sadist. We’re going to get twonked.
  17. Yeah but no but yeah. He has a point. Try something different. It doesn’t undermine you, it gives you more dimension. Currently we’re like a cardboard cut out. Obvious and with little depth.
  18. Can’t see past a very easy 2-0 win for WBA. I know we haven’t conceded more than 1 goal so far, but I think that time has been reached. We look woeful and teams now know how to play against us. Hope I’m wrong.
  19. What bothers me is that I don’t think this was complacency. I genuinely think teams saw what Leeds did and are just replicating it - result, we lose all composure and make stupid mistakes and then just fall apart. The pass pass pass for the freaking sake of it is mind numbing. Sure. Pass pass pass, get it to the side men, bomb on and get the ball into the box. Change it up a bit. Enzo won’t, of course, because he is right, his tactics are right and if you just stick to the plan it will work eventually. Except we’ve all seen this before. Usually we fall off AFTER Christmas. It’s not even this result. We’ve been woeful for weeks. We appear to have found the other gear, only it’s reverse.
  20. Just play against us like Leeds did and we fold like wet paper. Wednesday could and probably should have been 3 or 4 ahead IF they had been clinical. Has to change.
  21. That was absolutely diabolical from the start through to the end. We were LUCKY to get a draw. Probably one of the most abject performances I’ve witnessed in quite some time, and I’ve seen a few. Pathetic

  23. Trying to work out the acronym there 🤣
  24. A carnage of expectation
