  1. Incredible resilience. Crazy when you think he plays with way more pressure and expectation that any other player, has had to carry the PGA tour on his back over the LIV stuff and the monkey around his neck for going so long without winning a major. He's fully cemented himself in that next tier of player just behind Woods and Nicklaus. Given the above, Scheffler would have to get 9/10 to compare
  2. Shame the Europeans have faded but that leaderboard is incredible. Not often you look at it and every single player has the makings of a major champion (some multiple winners on there)
  3. Rose done now . Means Rory cannot lose this now otherwise another Scheffler win which I can't face (even though I quite like him)
  4. What a putt from Rory
  5. I think he'll be easy to get rid of (even if we're taking a hit), and he in no way is going to constitute our entire playing budget; let's not be overly dramatic. He's probably got a wage drop in his contract but even if he doesn't, we'd likely offer him on a free and subsides some of his wages for the remainder of his contract. But still plenty we'll be stuck with for sure.
  6. Scheffler and Rory have incredible mental strength but in a completely different way
  7. I think we forget, he is still only 16. He can go there for peanuts (to them) and give him a few years to develop in the reserves or out on loan
  8. Another masterclass from this club. Realise he's not been amazing but he's been atrociously managed which has sucked out his confidence, not played enough to develop the tactical side of his game, all meaning that him being an easy £20m+ asset, probably makes him worth a fraction of that now.
  9. Horror putt from Rose
  10. If a genuine question, that means he has finished today and he scored 66 (total number of shots). Augusta is a par 72, so he was 6 under par today, tournament score of 10 under
  11. Hope Rosie goes on a tear (even from here) and Rory goes a couple under for today. Won't feel like he's blown it then. Rory still got loads more time to get another 2/3 majors which he deserves but there will never be a more deserving winner of the Masters than Rosie.
  12. Right on cue. If only I could do that deliberately
  13. That's probably Rory done now. Never say never with him but Young going to take some catching
  14. Young's been so clutch
  15. If Young doesn't win this with how things are going for him, he doesn't deserve to ever win on the tour again
  16. Ridiculous from Young. Great players capitalise on the luck though
  17. Unbelievably, Thomas was the only one who tried to do that. Lascelles, Ricardo and Winks all could have done something but were weak.
  18. Yes he is. He's the one sinking the ship
  19. To be fair to Thomas, he actually did try to get him. Winks just ran away from their player and Ricardo/Lascelles could also have brought him down
  20. You're in the minority because there is a crazy amount of supposition. You're not alone but seems a few people have created this strange narrative that he's been this wonderful martyr, who's stood up for the good of the club with absolutely 0 evidence for it. I don't know the other way of course, but all evidence points to him being a bad egg. Could have said something and then cracked on but when you get dropped by 3 managers, that tells you the player is the problem. Plus his performances have been disgraceful; he's so half arsed, constantly bottles challenges etc. Again, logic dictates he is the problem. If we had more players with his attitude, we'd probs be rivalling Sheffield Wednesday.
  21. Good for Rory if that's his bad day. Problem is, the leaderboard is absolutely stacked with quality players who've won majors/big tournaments so he'll probably still need a 68/69 to get it over the line (maybe even more)
  22. Didn't say he didn't. Just expressed why he is not liked as a commentator/he isn't as good as the others. Unfortunately, he's also very much 'everything was better in my day' and he's ridiculously critical of most of them all the time as though he never hit a bad shot in his life.
  23. As a a golfer yes. But one of the worst Ryder cup captains and anyone who's been married 4 times definitely shouldn't be acting superior to anyone else
  24. He's probs the worst of the bunch, simply because he struggles to tread the line of imparting his knowledge and sounding superior to everyone. Plus he talks over the others all the time. But yes, Sky golf and cricket are so superior to other channels when it comes to Comms/analysis
  25. Why is everyone replying to Shaun; blatantly a troll. I mean just look at his post history
