Ah. To be fair, they've somehow managed to ruin things for loyal, local and further afield fans. Got to give them some credit for that.
-
Let's be fair, you deserved it for such awful wordplay... They should have given you a free ST for opening their eyes to the reality of the situation
-
One of the replies in @Dan's post, somebody was genuinely blaming Rudkin as though he's the one instigating this stuff . Bored of saying it, but nothing really changes unless Top/KP go. They'll just get some other lackey in to replace Rudkin
-
Why local? You think they don't do things to alienate those fans from further afield?
-
Yet if there is any 'customer' who has an increased right to moan of voice dissent, it's the supporter of a sports team. They are the very heart and soul of that team (business), no matter how much it's commercialised. Might be crap a lot of the time, but Leicester City is a part of everyone on this forum's identity, in a way that our consumption of other goods/services is not.

Almost have to laugh at this. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Our club is not alone in this I'm sure, but it's just utter madness that they do this kind of thing
-
Which is exactly what the players are currently doing. Bring some young guys into the mix and you could completely change the energy of the team, and even get lucky with 1 or 2 who actually help us win matches. Not saying we should play loads and make them first team regulars but we are absolutely awful at giving young players a chance. People will point to some of the lads that have come through in the past 10 years but I'm talking about the number of players that are given 5-10 cameo appearances before we make a decision. Instead they just rot at reserve team level, never getting that chance or even being sent out on loan.

Don't be such a damp squid

But he did actually offer something different in that we got in/nearly got a few times, from a simple clip over the top, something that doesn't happen with Vardy atm. We need to find a way of turning opposition defences round and he at least did that. Of course he's not a long term solution but some people seem blinded to our situation, and the reality is that he's all we've got so might as well be utilised.
-
Of course not but why not make it into a massive drama? Not like we haven't got a million other things to (rightfully) whinge about.
-
. He's an absolute ****. Genuinely scummy. Remember him smashing up David Forde's face with an elbow and then laughing when asked about it in the post match interview.
-
Hopefully the only way is up for him after a bit of settling in. Looked shocking tonight
-
And offside hahaha
-
Never a handball. What an absolute disgrace
-
Evans injured? Or maybe that was a miscommunication and it's more than he's involved with the first team more/travelled with them
-
Happens though. In his case, he obviously lacks the physicality for that league and so if you're not an established player, it can be hard to break into the team. Plus you can factor in that the lower the level, the more people's livelihoods are on the line and less likely to take risks. As I understand it, the view was that it was either Braybrooke or Sylla who was going to play, and Sylla is considered their best player so that won't have helped. Massively disappointing loan for him and likely to cause a setback, but I'm not placing too much stock in it. He's had absolutely shocking luck with the injury and not being given a chance when he should have done, and no matter how talented you are, it's largely down to luck and timing.

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

You're right but even though Ayew offers more protection, the protection he offers is laughable. Genuinely think we had more cover when Riyad was playing because at least he was out wide. Ayew drifts into no mans land in the middle of the pitch way too much. -
Or more likely, Alves will (no pun intended) go out on loan and be getting minutes every week and a massive chunk of playing time, certainly more than he'd get here. Whereas Evans/Monga might be in the odd squad/get a few minutes but unlikely they'll feature heavily in terms of minutes.
-
Well that would still be a marked improvement from letting lads a couple of years older just rot in the reserves or not even get on the pitch when they do finally make the matchday squad.
-
And his performances up to that point had made the others look like prime Maldini
-
I mean, Faes is so bad that not giving a manager the option to choose him actually improves our squad.
-
Really sorry that you actually managed to sign some decent players, one of which we were linked to. Must be hard
-
Loads of criticism of him in that video

Season Ticket / Membership renewals for 25/26

Herein lies the problem, and I don't mean your decision. It's just that the second you step outside, you're straight back to the queue so it makes it nigh on impossible for a ST to take a moral stand. Even as a member and somebody who's never had a chance to get a ST and likely never will, you get trapped in that cycle. -
Thing is, we still have absolutely no idea who is responsible for those decisions because there's no transparency. Regardless, it is actually a pretty thick decision to piss off to the other side of the world. Purely to keep up appearances and at least give the illusion that Top is doing everything he can to help the club stay up. Instead he's playing bloody Polo of all things . I agree that in reality it's unlikely to have much of an impact but the bloke can't even do basic PR well so what chance is there of him being vaguely competent as an Executive?
