  1. Not sure about his mentality, at least not that he's mentally wea. He was just about the only player who actually fronted up to how cack we were in games last year, when he was interviewed. Obviously he didn't have a good season but overall he wasn't half as bad as lots of people make out (still not a ringing endorsement based on the team last season). He massively suffered with those bad injuries, and the exposure down the right side last year was criminal. He's probably guilty of trying too much when he's not in good form so in that regard, his mentality is not great I guess. But at this level, he's plenty good enough and especially with his versatility. Sadly, he's never going to reach the heights he was at pre injury so it's not unreasonable to want to sell him if a decent offer comes in. Still, he's way down the list of players we should actively be shipping out.
  2. Clever political move. Will get them the majority of new votes and likely build lifelong voters for those who aren't super engaged. The argument for it makes sense of paper (they can work full time etc) but they are still very much children. You've got plenty of people decades older who still act like children.
  3. If VAR was a well oiled machine, 2 and 3 would be great. First 1 is an absolute nonsense though. That's part of the risk and reward. Personally think the double jeopardy rule change was crap as well because again, you're taking the risk to deny a goalscoring opportunity.
  4. There are jokes and then there are jokes. I hope you can sleep at night after such filth
  5. Interesting that MC seemed to spend a fair bit more time talking to him and Ricky. Don't think that was just so he could flex his language skills
  6. Nothing like holding a consistent view (Just jesting with you)
  7. The one thing I desperately hope doesn't happen, is Kingy get sidelined at all. He's clearly got something about him as a coach and it's absolutely critical for some connection to the club so hope MC will lean on him
  8. Physio looked pretty chilled as though all is well but I guess we'll see
  9. The good old eye test. I don't think his game will ever just be about pure output as that's not his main skillset and has so much more to his game. £20m would be an absolute steal.
  10. Feel as strongly as this as I do about Faes pissing off
  11. I'd have been so disappointed if these comments weren't in the first 5 responses
  12. As below, nothing to do with anything apart from the fact he has barely bowled this year, and has obviously not been bowling for several weeks. Shame, otherwise he'd had been a good wildcard pick
  13. Where do you live buddy? Just so I can make sure I get hold of the right social services, so they can take him away from you for child abuse
  14. I've rewatched that match a few times and we were absolutely not getting battered. Very tight game in which we were the better side for large parts. Came under big pressure after the goal but think it was an even game overall. Doesn't take away the fact it had nothing to do with Top though.
  15. Got me that one But only because I know he's a faithful partner and he'd never cheat on me like that.
  16. Fair enough. And I'm exactly the same in the second scenario so that's probably a good way for me to understand it. Mind you, my choice would have been Gillingham who are crap, and the place is even worse . Though to be fair, I probably support them more than most people support their supposed first team (big 6 fans)
  17. Crazy that England are ahead having basically lost or been behind every day of the series so far. Out of curiosity Stan, assuming you're British/English born with India heritage? How come you support India over England? Feel like I'd probably do the same in your scenario (but also very English so maybe not ha). Always interested as to what aways that choice. I had a friend with a Spanish mum and he was such a twat about England in football; desperate for them to lose. Very odd but he was an Arsenal fan after all!
  18. I've had even worse. Was so windy, we took the bails off as they kept falling off anyway and I played on with the ball speed probably half of Siraj's one. No way it would have dislodged the bails normally but still had to walk
  19. But that shows you how many balls are left . Assuming most people are able to subtract from 6
  20. Hopefully Bashir is injured for the next test. Shame Rehan hasn't been bowling as would have been interesting to see if they chucked him in, especially if Woakes/Carse come out and you need the extra batting.
  21. Bumrah decided that he didn't like his transformation into Rahul David and asked to be returned to a tailender
  22. Probably fail their due diligence processes
  23. Shocking bad; yes. Shocking surprising; certainly not.
  24. Natural reaction when somebody bumps into unexpectedly. Bit of handbags really.
