What happens during a transfer ban if players want to leave?
dmayne7 replied to Qwerty's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yep, wouldn't be that much of a punishment otherwise and would undermine any attempts to actually get the books balanced. -
He absolutely won't and it's madness you think he will. Vichai made some early mistakes then had loads of successes. Top was around for that so should have picked up on it. Top has made mistakes after mistake, overseeing a catastrophic demise of not only the club, but his/KP's financial investment in the club. And what changes has he made at absolute crisis with so many clear issues? Absolutely none. He doesn't care about the football club anymore and he's got 0 desire to correct things. I understand why people would initially hold this hope when we went down, as I did (though that was more in hope than expectation) but to still believe that at this point? It's essential for the long term future of this club that he sells up ASAP.
-
He's not going to change though is he? Hell continually pick the wrong people and get his priorities wrong. He's out of his depth. Changing Rudkin needs to happen, but only with Top going. It's pointless otherwise because he'll just bring in somebody crap
-
Probably still in a scrap but recruitment would have been better as it would fit the team, and as frustrating as it might be, you'd feel confident of actually winning games.
-
Definitely won't be here next year (assuming we're down). I'd heard he was excellent and that the numbers don't reflect that but he's got everything. The ultimate Pep player if ever there was.
-
No lack of effort. Is this genuine? Did you not see how completely different the game was for the 10 mins they actually put loads of effort in when we went behind; actually looked like doing something. The players have never been given a good structure or platform to succeed with everything on and off the field, but even so, if you're losing games then they players will always have some level of culpability.
-
Well yeah because he simply won't be good enough for that level. In a great team he might do well because he is good at finding space but he's so lacking technically, in every facet of his game that he will struggle

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

No he doesn't, he's either played wide right or been given a free role. Overall he's been a good signing and it's frustrating that he's not played more under Ruud, but he has been utterly cack when he has a chance. Today was just embarrassing. Doesn't help that he probably feels under pressure when he does get to play, but he's got to do more than he has been. -
No he doesn't. He needs to sell up, that's it. Why do people talk as though getting rid of Rudkin is suddenly going to enable Top to make more good decisions, get his priorities right or even give a shit? As mental as the way the club is run

Can't think of a worse 25/30 mins cameo. Absolutely pathetic. Lost the ball almost every time. Fans would rather cheer Ayew coming off who as crap a signing as he was, has still been a million miles better than Facundo has recently. -
He'll probably score now but it's got to the point where it doesn't feel hyperbolic to genuine question how he is a professional footballer. He kind of tries but looks like he'd struggle in League 2
-
Buonanotte has been utter cack since he came on
-
And what the f is he going to do with these useless, lazy c****?
-
Fulham have been rubbish and yet there's still a massive gulf. Shows how awful our recruitment and how here so many players are
-
Wouldn't have made a difference but he has been absolutely doggo
-
Absolutely mental. He was providing all the energy. At least being on Facundo if you're going to do that
-
Amazing how much better you look with a bit of intensity.

Quality from Vestergaard

They're ok. Some good players but no absolute standouts (maybe Robinson). They've been pretty poor today yet a completely different to us when the ball gets near the opposition box. They're inventive and decisive. No chance of a result if the game continues like this.
-
Talks way too much. Good for an in studio pundit but not so much for co comms
-
Started well but as per, it's completely evaporated. Fulham are pretty poor so far but will put something neat together and score
-
Thanks, just finished looking as soon as you posted! So Ward, Edouard and Hamza if sold would seem logical to move out. And obviously anyone under 21 that might come in doesn't need to be registered. So perhaps a little more leeway than we think. But crazy that we feel like we have no options in certain positions, yet we've been at 24 registered squad players and that doesn't include those in the squad that are under 21
-
Must be players that will not feature in that though? And anyone injured that is registered? Abdul count as under 21 and not registered, otherwise that's another spot to free up as unlikely he'll be back.
