  1. Yea when you look at average/low age obviously less, if they are living at home and on average wage, say 2 grand after tax? i suppose board parents charge can be anything from £50 to £300a month average? your mates that are living at home, what are they doing with the £1700 left? A big problem is a lot of landlords all selling up because of the renters rights bill and being tax'd on full revenue rather than profit. The renters end up absorbing the cost because of supply and demand. 1/2 bed houses being rented out for £800 - £1000 per month. I think the average rental cost has gone up £400 in the last four years
  2. I think majority of people could maybe save £200 a month if they were really careful on spending (some more, some less obv) thats £2400 a year extra (that's without taking into consideration a car on finance) I drove a car that could get me from a - b a lot of spending 300-400 a month on a new car, for what reason?, average first time terrace house in Leicester? 180/190k? 10% deposit - 18/19k if you are single. Does help. Agree about housing costing a lot more now versus in the 70's where is the 25 years figure from? I dunno, I work hard and earn a good living so there is an incentive to work hard?
  3. nice immature response, don't be bitter about some decent advice. i sacrificed loads and now on the property ladder. Just takes a bit of using your brain 😉
  4. not sure if satire. Is it that hard of an ask to reduce spending so you can end up affording a deposit for a house that you can own?
  5. I think they are right about that, a lot of young people still want to go on holiday, have the latest i-phone, eat out a lot, coffees on their way to work, netflix subscription, car on finance list goes on. Then moan they can't save money (and btw I am a young(ish) person
  6. Wood one season wonder last season he will get 7-10 goals this campaign. And an unknown in igor Jesus and a massive fixture list with europa. Could be a longggg season for them. 1 goal in 6 is honking
  7. it is public domain that he is the head of comms

  9. shin splints are an absolute piss take, literally have 5-6 weeks off completely go back and still hurt. I am recovering from them after finally resting for 10-12 weeks but they aren't perfect, still get some pain in them when running. never had them before last year and seems I am stuck with them now. Have even tried stability trainers etc and still no help. Hideous

  19. and Van Ewijk is a lot better player than Justin
  20. Nahh Daka that was wild
  21. Yea that shouts Juve, will probably get
  22. A problem with some young people they want the 3 bed new build detached straight away. If you look on rightmove the market is flooded with 2 bed terraces priced 170-200k that aren’t really shifting. the government are offering incentives to buy new builds as well. 5% deposit for a 300 grand house? Oh go on then. I first hand know a lot of people trying to sell small terrace houses that are really struggling. Some People are not interested in buying a small house as their first house, before in a few years stepping into a 3/4/5 bed house. all whilst driving their Audi on finance sipping their daily Starbucks.
  23. There is more than just what you see at surface level with overweight people, genetics/genome/environmental factors play a huge part in obesity, it has been proven some peoples brains are more addicted to eating more and not knowing when to stop etc. it isn't all down to being lazy, some cases yes, a lot of cases no.
