I’ve never played football outside of school so any Sunday leaguers on here feel free to speak up, but surely a ‘stray arm’ wouldn’t be enough to give some a bloody nose!? Like you’d have to consciously put some strength into swinging your arm, and why would you do that if you didn’t expect a man to be there? I don’t believe that injuries should dictate whether something was a foul or not though. Just makes me think Luke Shaw is a **** Should have been a penalty imo

Imagine we could sell 10k for this one if the allocation allowed. It’ll probably sell out within a few minutes of the all STH release.

Assuming Forest have no chance today, Arsenal away is such a shit draw
-
Reckon we’ll get Arsenal at home

Shocking VAR decision in the West Ham game imo

My first ever away day that was! Quality

It was a good end pre season a few years back.

I use ExpressVPN since it worked best for me on firestick and pc. Don’t bother using it for mobile.

Got it in 2 with a very, very lucky first guess

I know I’m preaching to the choir but just to process that claim: Derby need to get enough points that would normally get them to the playoffs to stay up, and that would be a greater achievement than us winning the league when we did? Granted in November of the respective seasons, we were about 200/1 for the league and Derby were probably 500/1 to stay up, but it doesn’t change the stupidity of what he’s saying Ian Holloway got Blackpool to the playoffs (and won them, of course) with an equally bad squad. Remember when we won the league at 5,000/1 and everyone was saying it was the biggest underdog story in sporting history, other than Blackpool getting promoted that one time? Basically the same

Exactly correct. Only difference is the en-suite I’m planning for is an already converted loft. I assume the only difference is I need to be prepared to replaster the parts of the ceiling I destroy and neaten it up though.

Bathroom is exactly where I’m thinking of. It seems relatively simple but I’m assuming the laws want someone qualified to confirm that the circuit can handle the new layout? Would be a shame to have to get someone in but I don’t want to take the piss and end up being unable to sell if we ever want to because everything flags up in reports.

Nice one cheers. Does that mean if I want to replace one light fitting with 3 spot lights (separate locations in the same room), I wouldn’t be allowed to DIY?

Haven’t checked the international schedule but just because England are playing a friendly, doesn’t mean that nations on the other side of the world are playing equally meaningless games. Plenty of World Cup qualification yet to play for. May well be an option to just play league games through it and tell the clubs to suck it up if their players are on duty.

Think that’s because for the EL games they had a sales bracket called ‘Season Ticket Holder Guest’. Different from general sale and the solution is given by Phonetic above. It is a ballache

That was the ‘before’ photo. There’s no exposed copper now.
-
Oh yeah I didn’t think you were saying that. Just meant that if I should have had a qualified sparky in, that law would be very daft indeed.

Wow surely not? It was just a wall mounted one. One screw to hold in place and another couple it was hooked onto. (Ignore the 24 screws I removed before realising that only one needed to come off ) Wired in like so before I touched it. It’s effectively no different to changing a socket like for like

I’ve been a homeowner for 10 days and so far I’ve: -Removed an electric fire and replaced the switch with a socket -Changed a light fitting -Ripped up carpet on stairs -Plumbed in Washing machine and Dishwasher -Filled in a loads of holes in the wall with plaster -(Started on) repainting a room -Fitted some new blinds All very minor stuff but I’m pretty chuffed since before I got the keys I’d barely done more than change a light bulb. Especially the light fitting- still amazed it works. Definitely enjoyed it all though so far, and I’m setting my sights high. Once we’ve got the first few months bills out the way I imagine I’ll have a flat pack kitchen to do. (Want to be sure that finances are as we expect them to be before spending all that money.) Scared about the tiling but I’ll have a go. Does anyone else have have any projects lined up for 2022? Or past projects/stories to share? Thought it would be nice to have an ongoing thread either way and if there are any seasoned DIYers who can help out with noob questions, you’ll be very welcome and appreciated in here

It was most obvious to me when I was sat under the TV studio for the Watford game, I think it’s the SK4/C2 border? SK1 will get something going and before you can figure out what it is and join in, half the West stand are at it with the clappers and there are 5,000 people in the middle with no chance of doing anything.

At the risk of sending this thread in a complete cycle, the clappers are almost fully to blame for chants getting drowned out before they can ‘travel’ over a few blocks.
