Going on that look, he's about as likely to 'score' as anyone of our current players.
-
Problem with not reselling a ticket is it also hurts the fan as they won't get the money back they would if they resold it.

What's the odds on the players player of the season award going to Danny Ward?

I won't argue with most of the points raised which I'd think are where the issues stem from. Mainly bad transfers and the strategy that went with it, leading to problems with financial compliance aka the rules. What did seem to be glossed over (with the exception of using vestergard as a constant example) is the complete lack of desire or interest the players show out on the pitch, you'd think the players have nothing to do with our current predicament. I think if the fans see just a glimpse of desire and effort things may start to change for the better. If it were me I'd start removing some of the home comforts seagrave seems to offer, make life a little tougher for the players as right now they simply cannot do any worse than they are doing, so if they take the hump, so what - it may encourage a few to take a wage cut and a job elsewhere. They can have some privileges back with they start showing they deserve it. It's the way we're going down that really angers me, not that we're going down

Surely needs the championship to mature and the good news is he'll get that with us. 2 goals and an assist is hardly magical in the prem but he has potential if he improves, and I think a drop in level is the perfect way to do that. Or maybe he's another that can't take the intensity of British football, and he'll be off abroad somewhere, where he might still flourish.

I echo most sentiments on here, what's the point of even looking at the run in or thinking we may pick up points here, others may lose points there etc when we lack even the most basic of desires needed; a willingness to compete. I honestly think even if it were 11 league one clubs we're looking at we'd struggle to win most of them. We simply can't even give anyone a game in our current predicament. It's all pretty much hopeless until/if wholesale changes are made from the board to players and some of those in-between. At the moment it seems everyone is looking on from their ivory towers. And are quite happy to continue doing so....

if you don't change any of the people in charge what sort of change is it? Piper just said he wanted to add something to what already exists.... Who's going to decide that? Oh the same people that have mucked up most other decisions these last few years. I get why Piper may have sentiments, but to suggest we don't change any of them is wrong. They are the ones that need to go!

Soumare was absolutely dog yesterday, contributed to conceding at least two goals yesterday if I remember rightly? Needs to be binned for now. As much as I hate to say it, maybe winks should start now that ndidi can provide some defensive cover.

Top is a man baby. I feel for him and what happened, but it's becoming clear he ain't no businessman and it's time he let go of the reigns, I've never seen the club in such disarray as it is right now. Players seemingly hate fans, fans hate players, the board, just about anything to do with lcfc. We've not a goal to cheer in months, the irony when we have an attacker as a manager is something else. It's really desperate, and I don't know where this ends. Things have to change. And that's a word even Ruud doesn't understand.
-
Really? The guy was defending rudkin and the board, wouldn't sack anyone. So how does he expect change to happen? They all need to feck off.... We don't want them anymore, none of them. Whelan, rudkin, top.... Time to leave the party.... Anyone who dances around that fact, they are like ruud, just sticking with the same ideas and hope all will be well.

We've had some howlers this season, tonight one and wolves another, plus a string of others I could mention. The new historic record we've created as the first team to lose 6 at home in the top flight without scoring, sums up everything wrong with us. And it's a crown the board and owner of this club will proudly wear I'm sure. Tonight sums up everything wrong with us and it's a gaping wound without a bandage, we're bleeding out and need saving and quickly. Please tell me there is someone out there who can do that???
-
Yes it's not just premier league, a top flight league record, we're talking 100 odd years of history being broken.... Woo woo.
-
Yeah they're so bad they've won the last 3? :-/
-
Yup I'd agree, wilf has in the main been great for us and certainly is looking like one of the best that's still with us. We have at least some sort of chance of winning games when he's involved....
-
He is JJ on the other side of the pitch, but probably not even at JJs level. I'd rather see Thomas again, his few outings this season have been decent and he at least seems to have the energy and enthusiasm, which is going to count for something in the shit or bust situation we now find ourselves in.

LCFC 0-2 Arsenal | Post-match thread
squidsworth replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
The side of 2014-15 were a bunch of journeymen, going down. But look what happen when we changed direction, we did something different, no longer predictable boring trying to keep the score tight and hoping we could nick something. We just went for it, every break we chucked everything at it. And it worked. But you need to be brave, and come up with some sort of plan. We're now at that point, and I don't think the likes of ayew and BCD are the ones to pull it out the bag. -
5 first tier home games without a goal
squidsworth replied to squidsworth's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah I'd say we need to try anything other than what we've been trying. Time to lose the shackles like we once did, if we lose 5-2 who cares but if we're to win games, we have to score. Let's go down fighting rather than sinking like a damp squid! -
5 first tier home games without a goal

Obviously our defense stinks, but it's made worse by the fact our attacking play stinks even more. Goals change games, but we never even get one, not even a glimmer of hope. We've had nothing to get us up out the seat since the beginning of December, what a crock of crap. And KP wonder why there is discontent... This really is shaping up to be our worst ever season in the top flight. All in the capable hands of rudders(less) and the KP crisp brigade. Bring back walkers, I say..... -
5 first tier home games without a goal

To think the last time we scored at home, was RVN 2nd game? -
Well done to the team of 24/25, for becoming the first since the 1920s to fail to score in 5 consecutive top tier home games. KP can add that to their trophy list. Disgusting.

I'd say any supporter banned that has genuine reason to question it, try and get together with other supporters in the same situation and as a group start lobbying the club and local MPs etc. It cannot be right that people are banned for holding an opinion that isn't inline with the clubs, or were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Obviously if you were actively involved in some activity that was illegal or known to be against club rules, which are clearly stated in the home areas, it is different. You have to accept the punishment. Voicing an opinion and questioning the establishment in the right ways, certainly isn't a reason though. I'm not sure anyone has come forward to state this is the reason they were banned? PS will be interesting to see how things go after today.

It's all utter nonsense when it's behind closed doors and subject to gagging orders. If it can't be said publicly it isn't worth saying at all. Ignore this nonsense and continue on with having your voices heard, in public. Protests are the only way real change can occur.

Sadly this is true but the club and the public deserve an explanation else one can only come to the conclusion it was indeed rigged. Whether that's a pay off or just a desire to do damage to lcfc, or get their beloved man ure into the next round, who knows. But in the absence of any other explanation, that's all that fly's. It's upto all of us to not let it be forgotten... I still haven't seen any explanation offered. The club at the very least should be looking for answers. -

Just sent this to [email protected] no idea if it's the right address but it has complaints in it _______ Dear FA Having observed the Manchester United Vs Leicester City fa cup game on 7th February, I would like to enquire whether the cup competition is infact rigged or suffers from corruption. As the FA cup is your competition, its reasonable to expect it to be officiated by competent and fair officials. However, in this instance, the second goal scored by Manchester United was undisputedely offside, with no possible explanation as to why the linesman didn't flag as he had a clear line of sight from a static free kick. It could also be said the free kick was questionable in the first place, but at least this could be argued for and against. Therefore I'd like to complain about the result and raise the possibility that infact the linesman was corrupted or was biased and wanted to see Manchester United through, or possibly he was acting on another person's or organisations wishes. At the very least this affair is extremely damaging for a competition as prestigious as the FA cup and I, along with a large audience who watched it unfold on National TV, at least deserve an explanation as to what has happened in this case and how the decision came about. I look forward to your response. My next port of call will be my local MP if you aren't able to respond or put my mind at rest that this matter is indeed being investigated.- 879 replies

Can't believe people think that is just woeful or a mistake. Literally the image captures the ref, the players the kick being taken and shows indisputable evidence numerous players including the goal scorer Maguire to be clearly offside. So what was the reason the linesman didn't give it? This maybe he thought VAR was in use is BS. He's a professional official ffs. We need to know why this happened, it can only be corruption or a desire to see man u through or Leicester out. It shouldn't be like that in this day and age. We should all be asking our club and the FA to pursue this until it's resolved.
