  1. A huge win, and they made me eat my words as usual. Good to see us react right to another dodgy decision against us. We wanna be achieving 2pts per game and this puts us in touching distance of that. I'm getting fed up of this crap ref business though, seems like every challenge we make is a yellow or red card or penalty! I guess we cant expect anything other than this as revenge from our financial misgivings, it isn't sport though. Maybe cheating? Who knows.
  2. I'm going to say we'll be found out today, 3-0 defeat. I'd worry about starting daka and bobby as they are so lightweight, the wind is likely to blow them over nevermind a team of experienced championship players like Swansea possess. Feel with the conditions and lack of physical attributes, today we're going to get what we've probably deserved at some point over our last 4 games. A demoralising and humbling defeat. Enjoy your day. :-) PS on the plus side I'm normally wrong, so keep your heads-up.
  3. Can't argue with the overall sentiment of the op. Our game which produced 2 shots on target in total from both sides was 3x less than any other championship game last night, with 6 the next lowest if you can't do the math. Our style, direction and everything at the club is just so predictable and boring and we just peddle out the same crap and tactical style week in week out. Maybe try mixing up the tactics as well as the players a bit, maybe even tactics to suit players out on the pitch and then things might change. But we're stuck in the same low gear, and seemingly unwilling to change it.
  4. I had this for ages but the last few days it's been working. I think it went wrong when I changed my profile details to not be a random name and put my own in. No idea how I got it working again but the last two things I did was delete my custom name so it was blank and saved it, it then gave me a random one again, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It seemed to work again shortly after that. But could just have been coincidence and randomly started working! But at least you know you're not alone in this weirdness!
  5. Daka was dog bar his assist. Bobby equally as ineffective. If anything epitomises our issues, it's players like these. Utterly toothless side with no creative flare or passion. 1 shot on target. Our issues are the top third. End of.
  6. Maybe our first 3 choice cb are just better than him at the moment? He's a young lad still and only ever featured at a below average level. Sure he'll get his chance but we've hardly done bad in defence, the best teams have conceded 5 and we've conceded 6? So it isn't exactly the most pressing issue to sort and experiment with right now. You think it he plays we'll not concede at all? The problems are firmly at the other end of the pitch.
  7. Well hopefully we now have 6pts on the board and 18th place before the rest of the weekends play. At this rate we should be able to avoid relegation. First half we played some decent football without a cutting edge, second half was a shower of the brown stuff and we're so lucky to come out of it with anything. But we do show heart.
  8. Vichai had a dream, to build a football team, full of keepers or so it would seem. From no 1, to 11, We're a team full of keepers, and you made us sing that. Ooo ooo...
  9. We won again so M'Dog must be doing something right, sometimes you just got to find a way to get them points. And the guy has achieved that so far. But my god have the last 2 games been absolutely s**t to watch. Our luck will turn for the worse sooner or later if we keep playing like we have thus far. So I'm hoping for a proper performance and a result in the not too distant future.
  10. He was always a trier, had some shortcomings but equally did some good things in his time. We have no one better in his position that will be available week in week out and he was versatile. Despite his floors, I think we're going to miss him. Especially at this level.
  11. Game plan: pass the ball endlessly but only if it's in or around our penalty box. Make sure you make at least 2 big mistakes whilst doing this to gift opportunity to opposition team. In the unlikely event we make advances beyond our penalty area, do 1 of 2 things; 1 ensure you don't pass and try and run through players or 2, hoof it somewhere where none of your fellow players will receive it. End of plan.
  12. Is it me or does Elk look like he's had his face superimposed in that photo?
  13. Bilal can't be arsed like the rest of them, look at his body language, he isn't happy here. Every time he makes a mistake or bad decision, he drops his shoulders like someone else to blame and looks annoyed he's even on the pitch. He has only ever shown glimpses of potential, and whilst he's the least of our worries, the way this fanbase has made him out to be the next Messiah is laughable. Sell him for what we can get. I have my doubts he'll ever make it at the top level in this country. It's already becoming clear he won't even make it at this level.
  14. My analysis, going on the first day video of training, is it's clear he seems very 'hands on'. Seems like the whole squad get a good ole welcome slap, shake or tap at some point, with I think it was ole Skippy getting one just north of the butt cheeks. That's as much as I was able to ascertain about his style thus far. 😉
  15. Well everything else information was available before you could buy, I knew about season tickets in advance and match day prices, but not memberships? No information about what they include or prices beforehand is strange, pretty sure previous seasons we got information before sale. And here we are into the afternoon, and still nothing about the elusive membership. Tickets supposed to be on sale Monday too if I'm not mistaken.
  16. PS haven't heard anything about memberships since the initial Comms about being on sale 4th. Is it happening or not? Might of been nice to communicate costs, and what is included for you money in advance of sale. But I guess that's way too much to ask for from this club.
  17. I've been a season ticket holder for several years but relinquished it this year and all the membership home points I've built up as a member before being season ticket holder and since are still there. I don't think you lose them, but you don't get the 10pts bonus for renewing, if you don't renew. Which makes sense. Away points maybe different, not sure if you get to keep those bonus points accrued as season ticket holder. They give you 50 each year of renewal.
  18. Why even bother putting a team out? Just forfeit the game. Team doctor can sign everyone off with a bad dose of the wet brown stuff.
  19. He's offered nothing in recent times, but maybe living in Vardy's shadow hasn't helped. No harm sticking with him for now, see what he's made of once the goat is no more. Maybe it'll bring something extra out of him, who knows.
  20. Thing we have to remember is he is not a pro footballer, he's still a kid at school. Wherever he ends up, you just hope he does himself proud and goes on to be something special. If it's for us great, but you can't hold it against him if he's destined for better/bigger things. Let's face it, we're not exactly top draw for developing exciting youngsters in recent times. Preferring instead signing ageing pros who like to collect a beefy wage packet every month, and destroy the clubs heart. Let's just hope Monga makes it big, and has a blue heart, and is the start of a new era for lcfc.
  21. Nah, he's just had a sleepover at seagrave after not being allowed home. Fell asleep dreaming of the big club he's about to join, woke up like this, loving Leicester and pledging his future for the next 10 years.
  22. Who gives a feck. These rules are destroying the competitiveness of the game. They are absolutely fine if/when they cap the rich teams from spending so much, it should be within a reasonable percentage of an average permitted spend. Affordability rules do not equate to fairness, not even in the slightest. It's time the big 6 feck off to their super shiny shit league and give the rest of us our football back!! What I don't understand is why the lesser clubs support it, when it's just allowing the rich to get richer, no matter how crap they are.
  23. Seems like a careless player to me, often loses possession and maybe just isn't mustard enough for the intensity of this league. Probably ok in the lower leagues or some European teams. Has plenty of pot shots but only occasionally do they end up the right side of the sticks. Not our worst player by any stretch but also has a lot to prove still, maybe he can do something in the championship, if he still around. Wouldn't begrudge him that opportunity.
  24. Was this the survey that only catered for negative responses? If so no wonder such a high percentage against digital tickets was recorded. It was probably the worst set of survey questions I've ever seen, completely biased to one side. Not objective at all, a few questions asking why you hated digital ticketing "Our survey completed from people that dislike digital ticketing found that 85% of them actually dislike them...." ;-p
  25. Nah, our despondency is nothing to do with entitlement or expectation. Rather a decline that has come about equally as fast as our rise did. You might be thinking we're back to where we were around 2010 but even that is looking at things half glass full. In our past we weren't saddled with some of the best payed players ever to be part of the club, performing at the top level in record breaking badness. It's difficult to see where we go from here, it really is incompetence of the highest order and puts our club at the very brink of even being able to survive. If being better than that is expectancy or entitlement, so be it. But I expect a club being run well for the good of it's supporters, with players giving their all, above all else. And what we've amassed is a bunch of terribly average players, on the whole, who couldn't give a toss and happy to wind down their careers on a massive wage. On top of that, the leagues continue to hunt us down, whether it's premier or football league. Cos we represented a threat to their established order. Time to find a second a team, if you don't have one, as our future is very bleak (as might be football in general, but that's another story). The big boom is coming, I'm sure of it. Half of all fans think premier league football is boring, with the anti competitive nature only set to get worse, the future ain't looking bright.
