At the moment, you've got to assume 50 would be enough, but could easily change. It's that last spot that worries me most. Every time we fail to win sees another team disappearing far into the distance. So we will be left in a small group of 3 or 4 where it's 50/50 if you go down or not, probably based on who does best in the last 5 or so games. Whilst most other teams will expect to be there and fight like hell, we'll be moping about feeling sorry for ourselves, offer no fight whatsoever, and go down with a whimper. I reckon 45pts for us, tops. The returning players are likely to be too little, too late. We're already broken, by then, we'll be properly busted.

Maybe just maybe this is the one we play with 11 for the full 90 and sneak a 2-1 win. For some unknown reason, I'm quietly optimistic. Maybe I just like a good dollop of egg on the face.

What's a league one season ticket worth? When you know we'll absolutely not tank the league like last time? Like when we're heading to division 4? Or league two as it's known now? Just think for a minute, this squad, and it's owners, might just be capable of that. The KP stadium a derelict building waiting to be bulldozed for a few more student flats. Is it king picking these players and tactics? If so it does come back to him, he's the manager and the leader of them! Not like he has just arrived, he knows all about the squad and it's players and he should be drilling into them what's required and at least some standards of professionalism expected. Clearly that's missing, they are even more renegade than they were, and that's an achievement in itself!

Why would a game not being broadcast on TV in the UK be on in a pub in Birmingham? Surely the only way to watch the Saturday game is either being there or via dodgy stream? Which I doubt pub landlords would do.

Maybe the magic number is 55 as posh got relegated with 54 and that's the most points to be relegated in the championship. Then add at least 6 more for psr penalty, we need equivalent of 61 to be sure? In any case, at least 6 to 8 more wins from 17 unless psr disappears.

The only expectation left is to avoid equalling the worst season in our history. That's it. The reason fans are increasingly frustrated, aside from the obvious lack of excitement and entertainment, is we are realising marti and his merry men may just be enough of a bunch of f**k heads to go and equal that. Considering the circumstances of our team being full of x prem players, and our huge wage bill, it would be the biggest failure in all of our history, easily. Marti and the players better start to realise that, else I see things turning proper ugly!

The irony is they didn't need to even do that. They were just as shite, taking advantage of a Jacob (aka Danny) bodge meaning they fluked a goal.
