Agreed with the links to Kone and Ivanovic I think it’s clear the mould of striker we are looking for also. Even if they are just rumours like they say there is no smoke without fire.
-
Would be a smart move but appears unlikely to happen.

Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)

If we fleece them, then I’ll have to give praise to Rudkin even without any incomings. Can’t see VK leaving though he’s out for several more weeks. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
Which I’ll be honest I think that’s how it should be done, but with actual good smart recruitment. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
Realistically we are probably going to replace Kasey With Bobby Reid. With regards to playing style they are both close to identical which goes to show how poor of a transfer BDCR was in the first place. -
I forgot about BDCR yeah he will most likely replace Kasey sadly. I’ll be honest we need to find a way of moving Soumare on then get one in all 4 of the positions you’ve stated.
-
I think we could still do with selling/loaning a few more after Kasey: Hamza - £5m to Wrexham JJ - £7m to Leeds Soumare - Loan or Winks - Permanent Bilal - £32m to Palace or Spurs. Wanya Marcal - Permanent Silko Thomas - Permanent

I corrected it for ya

I think it’s too early in his development to be a regular rotational player personally. Just didn’t look ready for senior football yet as far as I’m concerned. As a 5th choice I agree, but in the championship and with the system we use, you need 4 wingers who are dangerous and consistent.
-
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Agreed sell both. Jake Evans is your 5th choice winger. -
After likely sales my somewhat realistic dream would be: - Left Back - Harry Amass (Loan) - Holding Midfielder - Pelle Mattsson or Charlie Savage £3m - Box to box midfielder - Besfort Zeneli £5m or Josh Brownhill - Attacking Midfielder - Finn Azaz £12m or Joao Rego (Loan with permanent option) - Right Winger - Rak-Sakyi (Loan with permanent option) - Striker - Mihailo Ivanovic £10m + £2/3m add ons. Would cost us anywhere from £13m - £30m dependent on which choice you make, but I do feel we need 6 more in for Marti’s system to work and a boy can dream.

There is also big fee’s missing compared to our last championship season though. King Power supposedly paid £7m to sponsor the shirt that season as well as buying naming rights of the training ground worth £15m. That’s £22m less income than the previous time we was in the championship. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)

See this is where I get stuck. Because what fully is included in PSR and based off the accounts we release can we calculate PSR losses? -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
I’ve calculated Mads at £20m with a 10% sell on clause going to Brøndby, totalling our amount to £18m. Add ons are hard to calculate also as firstly we don’t know what the clauses are or if they’ll ever get achieved and second of all they are not paid across the length of the contract and instead paid in one off fee’s. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
You also have the argument though that if Tottenham are sniffing around Bilal, that they’ll cough up to get the deal done. All depends how badly they want him I guess. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
So here’s how I have it: - Coady - £2m (£0.2m book value profit) - Wilf - £8.3m (All profit) - Hermansen £18m (£14.1m book value profit, Mads is complicated due to a variety of fee’s being stated) - Kasey £12m (All profit) Likely sales: - BEK £32m (£16.25m book value profit) - JJ £7m (All profit) With regards to PSR, it’s impossible to calculate without knowing the loss margin for last season. However, the one thing we do know is you are allowed to lose £35m for each season in the premier league & £13m for each season in the championship. What we know about this 3 year cycle of 23/24, 24/25 and 25/26 is that it includes 2 seasons in the championship and 1 in the premier league meaning we can have a max loss of £61m across the 3 year cycle. We already know we made a loss of £19m in 23/24 therefore that allows us to make a loss of £42m from last season and this season. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
Not at all! Obvious sale to be made at that price regardless of our feelings towards Kasey. BEK was signed for £21m on a 4 year deal, so each year reduces £5.25m 👍 -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
Sadly not true. McAteer is obviously clear profit of £12m. BEK currently has a book value of £15.75m, so selling him for £32m would show a book value profit of £16.25m. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
So I’ve actually spent time trying to figure out how much of a mess we are in this season compared to the 23/24 season. I’ve considered a few times to open a separate thread regarding it. Ultimately we won’t know exactly how we look from a PSR perspective due to last seasons accounts not being available but we can gauge from a transfer expenditure perspective. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
I think they’re as good as gone tbh. There was too much noise about JJ to Leeds prior to the injury for it to not happen, I think they are just waiting til he’s 100% for medical purposes & Bilal is gone as far as I’m concerned. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
With the £12m from Kasey, that takes us up to around £40m raised with a book value profit of £34.5m. With the inevitable sales of BEK & JJ we will be at around £80m raised with a book value profit of £58m. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Question…. Would people prefer a £30m deal with palace but it includes Rak-Sakyi on loan or the original £32m agreement? -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
Tempo setter from a pressing perspective attracts a lot of interest. Lesson to learn for a lot of young lads wanting to make a career in the game. -
Include a loan for Rak-Sakyi in an agreement for Bilal to replace McAteer.

Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
I think the club always had one eye on selling Kasey to be honest, I said at the beginning of the window the fact he’s pure profit will be too tempting for a team needing to recoup fee’s.
