Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)

Wow what a price! PURE PROFITTT. In all seriousness, appreciate Kasey a lot, always gave it all just lacked the quality required from our wingers in this system. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Invested £400m into the club? Am I missing something? If you are including transfer fee’s in that then we had the model of selling players for huge fee’s such as Maguire, Mahrez, Fofana etc to allow us to reinvest back into the playing squad. Other than the training ground, purchasing the club and paying off the debt (now created new debt) what else have they invested in? You also can’t expect to recoup every penny that you invested into a club to run it day to day operations. -
I’ll continue to say his name In the hope it comes true. Pelle Mattsson available for £3m. 5 years younger than Winks, just as good on the ball, physical presence, loves a challenge, probably will want a 3rd of Winks’ wages and leaves you £2m in spare change. Europe and South America is littered with players just like Winks. It’s the players that can do what Winks does and offer strong defensive attributes that are hard to find in defensive midfielders.

I firmly believe the future of Leicester City under King Power will be made very clear within the next week. Should we invest some permanent fee’s but nothing crazy then they are most likely attempting to have a reset year for the PSR cycle and remain committed. Should we get some loans in with an option to buy then they are leaving the door open to stay dependent on promotion. Should we just get straight loans or no business at all then I firmly expect within the next 6/12 months we will start seeing links with regards to the club being up for sale. Personally this is my thought process with regards to the future of KP. -
Appreciate that, honestly for me he would be a priority signing. I very much believe he could fill the roles of both Ndidi and Winks. A midfield 3 of Mattsson, Zeneli and BEK/his replacement would make an amazing midfield trio.

Who knows it’s a minefield mate. That’s not even including the £400k in wages per week which we’ve cleared by selling/releasing the likes of Vardy, Coady, Ndidi and Ward. That alone totals over £20m a year. Stating the obvious here but selling Bilal for £32m balances the books and then some. So if there is no further incomings for fee’s then Top is 100% asset stripping the club as far as I’m concerned. -
Hence why people like Fabrizio rub their hands together and create this unrest.

Continue playing hardball with Palace, this is one thing Rudkin actually manages to do well. They’ll eventually cough up the money, and they’re banking half of the Eze money after paying for Bilal. £32m for Bilal would take our total amount raised to £60m for the summer and a book value profit of around £38-£40m -
Has there not been multiple pieces of information to suggest we was never interested in Kone?
-
The guys potential is absolutely huge and teams will be willing to pay money for that. if he reaches his potential he’s easily a £50m+ player. He’s got a body type similar to your Haaland and Isak’s, something most clubs are actively trying to find themselves.
-
Can’t see him cutting the cloth whilst with us. He needs a permanent move away to get regular opportunity and see where his level is. If we get anywhere from £1m and above, sell and build the budget for Marti.
-
I really hope this rumour is true, shame it’s come from such a shit source. He’s 6 ft 3 but fast and powerful, he can hold the ball up and very good technically, he’s an aerial presence and knows how to finish. Add to all that he’s 20 years old and has so much potential resale value. £6m/£7m with add ons would surely get it done.

Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)
Bluearmyfox28 replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
Love Kasey and I love the effort he puts in. But he’s not made for this system, he can’t beat a man one on one and doesn’t suit one touch football. If we can get anywhere from £7m+ then sell and buy a young cheap winger from Europe or get a loan signing as it’s a rotational role behind Abdul. -
Very good player with bags of potential but I do worry he is still a bit too lightweight for championship football and I seen very similar to what we already have in Page. The player I would be looking at from the Scandinavian market to replace Winks would be Pelle Mattsson. He's available for around £3m and offers physicality something our midfield is crying out for.
-
This is who we should be targeting to replace Bilal depending on how much of the money raised can be reinvested.
-
I doubt it after the ACL. In a way Abdul doing his ACL last year could be a blessing in disguise to our season this year.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Ultimately £32m for BEK is good value based on current output but potential. IF he reaches his potential he has good resale value but we get a nice pay out as the middle team. The one thing Marti’s system made me realise is ultimately I don’t think BEK is a no.10. He needs to play for a heavily possession based team in a similar role to what KDB was playing under Pep. -

This would be the final nail in the coffin for even some of the King Power FC fans surely?! -
£40m + £5m easy add ons is the starting point, anything below that should be non negotiable. He’s 21 years old and a game changer. We need to stop downplaying our own talents.

We was paying a ridiculous loan fee, why would they take him back?! That’s on Rudkin not palace. -
It was how recent he followed which got people reacting. I think there is something in it to be honest.
-
Yep the exact same pattern for 3 years now & yet fvck all changes and some fans continue to back him. Literally the definition of insanity. I would like to think we’ve got deals ready waiting to pull the trigger but we all know that’s not the case. These clowns need to fvck off from our club.
-
Would love Pelle Mattsson too!

Apologies for the text size, copied and posted of my notes on my phone

I would be annoyed if we don’t utilise the Scandinavian market with Marti’s knowledge of the leagues, especially in the midfield department. Pivot: Pelle Mattsson (Silkeborg) - deep lying midfielder, plays in the base of midfield, often sitting between the centre backs. This boy is exactly what we need. Grit in the midfield he loves a tackle. You can tell he enjoys spraying the ball out to the wingers. Often looks to pass forward rather than sideways to break the lines. Great at recieving the ball on the half turn to keep things ticking forward. 24 years old, recently linked with Norwich for £2.6m. Perfect for the pivot role. https://youtu.be/pZRA3eqR4QY?si=OBntskfXhSpLPBfx&utm_source=ZTQxO Box to box: Noah Nartey (Brondby) - Box to box midfielder, great ball carrying ability, best attribute is recieving the ball under pressure and turning out to create an attack. Mainly based on the right side of central midfield, 19 years old. https://youtu.be/GqSzDk4ltL8?si=aBL7wEYtCt2ZI9fc&utm_source=ZTQxO Besfort Zeneli (IF Elfsborg) - Great dribbling ability, offers a physical presence with pace and power. Provides creativity from midfield but will get stuck in as well. He’s 6ft1, 22 years old should be a priority signing. @Ric Flair takes credit for this one. https://youtu.be/N7WwvMgWP3I?si=1JJKlQnQeJ3MNN7M&utm_source=ZTQxO A midfield 3 of Mattsson, Zeneli and Bilal would dominate the championship and probably available for no more than £7.5m. Players to keep an eye on: Pontus Dahbo (BK Hacken, 19 years old) - Box to box / Attacking midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dohl (Tromso, 19 years old) - Ball Winning Defensive midfielder Matias Siltanen (Djurgardens, 18 years old) - Defensive midfielder (Pivot) / box to box midfielder Keita Kosugi (Djurgardens, 19 years old) - High pressing left back.
