  1. Yeah breaking 100 has been tricky for me too, got 102 last Friday at Whetstone. Maybe I should play off the reds I know what you mean about the close together fairways, especially holes 2,3 and 4. Always happy to get those out of the way
  2. Finally bit the bullet and became a member at Whetstone. One of the justifications of giving up my season ticket was to join somewhere and it isn't too badly priced for a year at £720. Now just to actually become half decent so I can take part in some competitions.
  3. Good points I didn't realise it was his masters debut tbh. Have already had a flutter on Morikawa, Fitzy and Gotterup so should probably stop there
  4. Penge doing well again this weekend, worth a couple of quid for the Masters?
  5. Animal Kingdom is superb, just started the 3rd season.
  6. Have you been to Trastavere before? Just outside of the centre of Rome and if you go in the evening its brilliant.
  7. What a journey this was. Paris was a bit chaotic as expected (not a huge fan) The train from Paris to Zurich was great, most comfortable mode of transport I've been on. Zurich surprised me, great little city with everything easy to reach albeit pricey. The train from Zurich to Como wasnt as luxurious but the scenery was stunning! 3 hours flew by! Lake como was lovely and relaxing after a hectic couple of days prior, went on a boat trip to Bellagio which was also lovely. Then the train to Milan and then to Verona. Verona is a wonderful place, like a smaller and more accessible version of Rome. I can see why a few people on here have said how great it is. Brilliant bars here too. I was expecting quite a few hiccups along the way regarding travel etc but it was seamless, so easy!
  8. Is Amend a nickname on here I've missed or is autocorrect doing you all dirty?
  9. 9 darter! Scenes in Belfast
  10. No but maybe I should be was very off the cuff so all trains were done on trainline.
  11. New series of From coming soon. Have been rewatching the first 3 series. I love it, I loved Lost and I just love watching a mysterious show without a ****ing clue what's going on
  12. The shifty glances to the side and the gun holding are my personal highlights
  13. Not getting off the ship is madness! Only Caribbean islands i wasnt really a fan of was Tobago and Guadeloupe but im sure if we had done some more research there'd be some amazing things to do there.
  14. Decided to do a bit of a random trip in a couple of weeks. Flying to Paris and staying the night. Next day we get the train to Zurich for one night. Day after that we get the train to Lake Como for 3 nights then train to Verona for 2 nights. Not too bothered about Paris even though I've never been but the wife wanted to go and realise its probably too short a trip to see much in Switzerland but it'll be an adventure!
  15. Actually im not sure he's ever switched on
  16. Thomas switched off again?
  17. That was thrilling, the snowboard cross earlier i enjoyed even more. Winter Olympics really has made these depressing winter months so much more bearable! Loving it
  18. Pebble beach is a stunning course isn't it! Fitzy looks like he's put on a bit of timber
  19. Every time either of them play i always think to myself id rather have the other playing. Then you realise how shit both of them are. Its a painful cycle
  20. Another new low for English cricket ffs
  21. Another one down, this is brutal! (Strangely entertaining too)
  22. Had one of those range sessions last night that got me thinking I could mix it up with Scottie and Rory some day. Unlikely as im now 36 years old and never broke 100 but you never know.
  23. Stolarczyk trying to catch the ball from a corner remind me of contestants trying to catch the cash flying around the wind machine in the Crystal Maze.
  24. That's a sad one, absolutely superb in Schitts Creek and stole the show in spite of other great performances.
