Bristol City 2-2 LCFC - Post Match Thread

Awful game management by a pretty bad manager. If we are conceding a goal that early in the second half was criminal. 1 point gained off the back of that shite. -

Bristol Away Match Thread Dec 10th 7:45pm

Can we get a full 90 of half decent football? Bristol look shite but we have a knack of gifting teams goals. -
Everything is the clubs fault at board level. The reason we can't sign anyone is down to them. The salaries is down to them. I could go on. Fans shouldn't just accept where we are now, just because of a largely successful 10 years. Mistakes can happen. We have no divine right for Premier League football. Something HAS to change on and off the pitch else we will genuinely be in League 1 and financially ****ed. We have a torn fanbase. One that blindly supports the team not matter what and another who is happy to show their displeasure to push for change. My hope is the latter becomes more common before it is too late.
-
But we shouldn't be where we are considering where we have been. It's as simple as that. It's hardly entitled to believe we shouldn't be lingering above the relegation zone in the second division given the money spent on players and the salaries some of these current crop are on. If we were shit because of a lack of ability, which we've been many times before, fans would accept it. This squad is not amazing but they shouldn't be turning out performances like they have done. We are poorly run on and off the pitch. Fans are rightly pissed off. I love Leicester City but I'm struggling to support most of these players. Bunch over paid willy pullers who do not give a shit.

Our slow slow slow play in attack...
leicesterlad1989 replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yet we still somehow get hit on the counter attack, all the time. Our players love to occupy space. There's no movement. Its like watching mannequins. -
He was better than Winks most recent performances. On that basis alone he should start next game alongside James. He is infuriating, as he clearly has ability but his application let's him down more times than not. He did everything right under the circumstances today.

Sheffield United (H) Saturday 29th November 12.30pm

Im a ST holder who hasn't been much at all this season. First time back in a while. Picked a lovely day for it. 4 nil loss. Back into hiding. Fantastic. -
See ya. We've not changed in the slightest under him. If anything he's made us worse. We can't even keep the ball anymore. Only team I know who can't create a chance, yet always look to be hit on the counter so easily. No defending this clown now.

The Ashes 25/26
leicesterlad1989 replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Embarrassing. Our first innings was bad enough but the batters have massively let down the bowlers with their stupid shot selection. Genuinely thrown this test away. Credit to Head who was brilliant but he highlighted exactly how to play aggressively on this pitch. Our batters were idiotic. Uphill battle now. Only positive is an extra 3 days rest. -
The Ashes 25/26
leicesterlad1989 replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
If we want to defend a target and keeping this level of intensity, we need to give our bowlers a decent period of rest in between innings. Given the injury record of Archer, Wood and Stokes, we can't afford 30-50 over slog fest. Australia are there for the taking this test, if we get our next innings right. Their bowling attack for this test is weaker than ours and so is there batting. Great opportunity to go 1 nil up. -
Kasey McAteer sold to Ipswich - Official
leicesterlad1989 replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
He had a longer career at Leicester than most ever thought he would have. Besides a purple patch at the start of the Enzo season, he's been pretty below average (as have most of the squad). I hope he has a successful career wherever he ends up in the future. He doesn't seem like a bad lad. The money offered was far too good to turn down. -

I'd like a team that has fullbacks that over lap and support the attack. Wingers that stay out wide. Maybe the addition of Aluko in the back line too if fit. Nelson to keep his place. Won't happen. So I won't watch. -
We got it right defensively because we were so deep. Even then we still conceded a sloppy goal and Vestegaard nearly gifted them one. Carranza is ****ing awful. I'd rather play Faes upfront.
-
We have been shite every single game this season. Cant sack a squad of players unfortunately. I don't know how he can continue any longer.
-
I'm convinced Carranza is a competition winner. A modern day Ali Dia.

What the **** is this formation and what the **** are our tactics. So many players who offer nothing.

My mates a Sheffield United fan. Thinks we've had their pants down. He's shite too. Just highlights how poor we've been recruiting a striker.

To allow James to play in his natural position and not to have Soumare not on the pitch. -

Rather have Bobby Reid as number 10 and James in his proper position. But agreed. Options are limited. -
