Think thing is now we do not need any more ‘experienced head’ signings, unless we manage to sell all of our centre backs. Chaplin, Ings and McCarthy will be enough, imagine Choudhury stays and maybe a Skipp or Souttar. Hopefully this is the groundwork so we can go off now and make our marquee(for L1) signings with some of our sales money

Conor Chaplin (signed, official)
LCFCCKEANO replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Transfer Talk
Think it’s been said but reckon this is an attacking midfield signing, and he’ll compete with Alves/Page/Reid for the 10 role. Think we start the season with Braybrooke and Choudhury behind Chaplin -
I like this but think Page/Braybrooke/Alves are competing for two spots unless Alves moves out wide. Think it’ll be Choudhury or a new signing as an out and out defensive mid
-
Alves staking his claim in the 10. Young lads look more assured than the seniors on the ball
-
On their bench, number 20
-
Choudhury has been a bit dodgy on the ball
-
He’s going to Sardinia, went there a few years back, pretty funny how all of a sudden he’s fine not being near home now he can live in paradise rather than the east mids. This is the 2nd/3rd best headline of this window even if we sign 11 world beaters (Faes gone #1, Vesty toss up for #2)
-
Will Never understand the length of his last extension, I think we gave him and Vestegaard the exact same length of renewal
-
Reckon we will have one 60 of potential first teamers for next season and one for shop window and a couple backups, something like- 1st 60- Stol Aluko Gray Nelson Thomas Braybrooke Choudhury Joseph Page Alves Ings/Hutchinson or Otchere 2nd Vieites Coulibaly Faes Wilson-Brown Kristiansen Winks Skipp Evans Reid Mavididi Hutchinson/Otchere/Opoku wouldnt be mad at 30 for each of the 4 of the above if Ings is in, in time. Left out internationals and guys who haven’t reported for training edit- also think Joseph will eventually be our starting rb for the year and one of our better players but whilst we have no wingers

Danny Ings (signing 1 year deal, John Percy.)
LCFCCKEANO replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
What makes you think he’s expensive aside from name? He is old, barely started in the championship last year and the fact he’s stepping down as others say means there likely wasn’t much of a market for him. If I was betting I’d bet on his wages being on the lower side with maybe a big goal/app bonus. This does feel a little different to Ayew/Reid as it’s earlier in the window, so doesn’t feel like he’s necessarily been brought in to start but moreso because we are the club in the chain after the one we have been recently, like Wrexham with Coady, and they probably didn’t get the worst deal you’ve ever seen. If anyone overpaid Ings it would’ve been Sheffield United -
Danny Ings (signing 1 year deal, John Percy.)
LCFCCKEANO replied to moore_94's topic in Transfer Talk
If he is a back up option to a Tolaj/Ballard/Wareham it’s ok, if he is our starter it’s terrible. 11 more signings according to Percy, you’d imagine another striker would be at least one -
Nixon said something about us having a few deals lined up and nothing finalised, guess this is why. Monga leaves tomorrow I think, which would explain the Ings story coming out today if this is the case
-
Wouldn’t listen to Charlie Methven for advice about Charlie Methven, guys a moron

Reckon going by the above without knowing of him too well that he is probably another KDH/Briggs type that needs time for his body to develop, think he’s ready for a senior loan now or it’ll be a later one like those two? -
Wout Faes signs for Leicester - Official
LCFCCKEANO replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Would bet my life he isn’t here next year- could genuinely see him taking a year out before he comes back to us in L1. Think it’ll end up being a loan for most of his wages and release him next year -
I think if I’m the club I sell every senior outfield player bar the ones you mention and rebuild around them. Imagine in reality Thomas and Hamza stick but hopefully the latter as backup and the former to be sold on promotion. Souttar and Nelson would be perfect for a rebuild
-
This whole what’s the point of the academy argument all does just feel a bit like we are throwing our toys out of the pram, it’s probably the only really good aspect of the club atm, the absolute least of our worries
-
This, we’d be in this hole and we would’ve had to have found a winger and a LB during our good years, someone to do what KDH did in the in between, and would probably need an extra 7/8 signings this window- also if we do manage to rebuild ourselves anytime soon they’ll be the ones we sell for a profit so we can build our squad up, fully expect Gray/Page/Aluko/Joseph/Braybrooke/Motsi to get decent money over the next few years

Monga to Man City £10 Million - Official.
LCFCCKEANO replied to Aus Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
This all over- good deal in the end, the unforgivable part is that we are in the position that this is a good deal. Have to give a level of credit to Monga too for signing the pro terms and allowing us to negotiate a decent fee too, hope the lad does very well for Man City -
Really enjoy Miguel Freckleton- never seen him play but big fan of the name
-
Seen he’s apparently off to Millwall
-
Would be extremely positive, get him in and around the squad ala Monga/Page
-
Selective reading I’ll call it 😂
-
Does that suggest Souttar may not be allowed to leave? I’d be delighted if that was the list of sales come the end of the window
-
The rumour today is West Ham for almost 20m- some of what you have said isn’t all wrong but he is way above our level and will in the near future be a prem regular. He will run and defend and showed that his first season with us and for Ghana against us the other day, imagine it’s hard to stay motivated when you’re scoring goals from your own half and your strikers either can’t run or can’t play football
