Turkish fans on Twitter seem to think Mavididi is signing for Trabzonspor, saw one mention a loan to buy for 20m euros which can not be right 😂
-
Maybe we were waiting for Bristol to choose and we are getting the spare aka Skubala… we can dream
-
Should be our first port of call, if I was working for the club I’d want a list ready for June 1st, if we can sign 4/5 cheap younger players for depth it takes so much pressure off of the rest of the window
-
At what point is it more worthwhile having him around for the year and just letting him go for a free- if he is a key part, promotion is worth far more than 500k
-
Really think we will try for McFarlane at Chelsea and the delay is us waiting for their season to end
-
And the 4-0 was against a play off chasing super in form Southampton, and (may be remembering wrong) it was after a little wobble and felt fairly high pressure. Very confident he is going to do extremely well at Man City, similar vibes to Kompany going from Burnley to Bayern, he knows how to set up to win consistently with better players than his competition and low blocks every week

Dewsbury-Hall was 23 on loan at Blackpool and Luton in L1, Braybrooke is 22 in L2, and in the tots, so he is at least on track with KDH, which worked out well enough for him. Players develop late sometimes, especially smaller less physically able players who have to adapt to men’s football
-
Guess the idea would be to tie him down before he hits the free market and has more options if anyone truly wants him

If my Nan had wheels, she’d have been a bike…

Agree with this, we have a habit of breaking other teams bad habits lately. Think with that squad any momentum probably kept us up -

More recent but I’d have Daka’s penalty at Watford. If we score that and got another win over the line I think heads go up and the atmosphere turns a bit less, and we probably survive -

If it’s a cheap deal he’d be a functional starter in L1 and good back up for the Championship if we get up on a free. If we are losing Kristiansen then I’d be happy to sign him and essentially use a chunk of VK’s wages for VK level play, with any fee we get on top. Positions like full back don’t need addressing until we go back up for now, you can survive with utter shite at full back in L1 -
Agree with this. If we waited another week and got Rohl (or just paid for him) think we end up mid table. TBH I think with Corberan in the prem we tussle to survive, we have just made repeatedly awful appointments since Dean Smith. Only one worth his money was Enzo, do think that is where we should be headed again, coaches from elite academies/top clubs
-
Two big ifs- if he makes it through the first wave of post season appointments if we actually have some money to spend (unlikely) as has been reported If those work out for us, it’s an attractive job rebuilding a team that should have the resources and players to walk the league (won’t do it but we do have the resources). I reckon we are waiting for the playoffs to end, could see us after Challinor or Alexander depending on how it shakes out

From the bits I have seen I get a little bit of a KDH vibe from him in terms of his development. Wouldn’t be surprised if he broke our team or had a very successful L2 loan in the upcoming season. Think he ends up as a 10 but think he starts out as a backup wide option if he comes in to the squad now -
Harborough is actually one of the most Leicester strong places I’ve been to, pretty much everyone I have known from there has been Leicester, moreso than actual Leicester
-
Im hoping the new role for him will essentially be a between point for the commercial and footballing side, judging by the comments of a disconnect there previously, maybe it will just be trying to marry up what Davies says with what McCarron wants I.e communicating budgets and realistic wage points for new signings. Sure it’s been said before, we will know by mid-June

If they actually give it a go and aren’t entirely crap the majority will get on board, always get a few who just go down to have a whinge at everyone except the board. Honestly the ‘world class’ midfield we had included two players who couldn’t have given a shit less and one who aged out of top flight footy at 25, they aren’t the ones I miss from that side -
Tbf from what I have seen McAteer seems to have had a good second half of the season and seems fairly well liked. They’ll be after a CM for a reasonable price, maybe they’ll take Winks
-
Should be sniffing around Donley(Oxford haven’t taken the buy clause) and Lankshear from spurs (I know, PTSD). Both have EFL track records and would come in and perform immediately
-
Don’t think it’s that crazy, think pessimism has driven some of our lot a bit over the edge, as shit as it is majority of them will be able to find teams who will take a low cost risk on guys who have previously performed, Luton got a fair few million on a 30 year old Carlton Morris. I would only really swap Joseph and one of the new defenders as he is a RB, and have two new AM’s instead. Think if by some miracle get Tolaj, Collins and a new manager in place soon we will be in a good place to be a bit more reactive to our sales after that
-
Probably been said but if Rangers sack him we should be all over Rohl again
-
He’d do well at Derby where he could be an additional piece rather than one of the main guys, really hope this one is true, his time has run its course here
-
He does, but he wouldn’t if he could actually see beyond his nose and change the infrastructure to limit his own involvement. Can’t remember who but someone said being a chairman is ‘the most expensive season ticket in the world’ and if Top ever learnt from that in 5 years it could all be a bad memory, but he won’t and it won’t be so by the by. Rudkin either has to go or be moved into a position with absolutely no responsibility, which would still drain club finances. Way I see it Top is a moron but he has a reason to be here and if he bankrolls the club and stops suicidal decisions would have a function (still want him out). Rudkin has absolutely no reason to still be involved. Go as far as to say if he sacks Rudkin he probably wins back over some of the more recent KPFC converts
-
Think Nelson and Stolarczyk have every chance of progressing once the toxic elements are gone Think Choudhury/Thomas’ level is bottom half champ/top half league one, expect they’ll both have an alright time, especially if they’re not being relied on in anyway Silko Thomas is crap, only gets mentioned because we had to stick him up front twice, I would rather Wanya in the squad than him
-
Just need to wait until a name we really really want is in close talks like Rohl last summer, then we know the next name will be our actual manager. Gonna guess heavy talks with Challinor/Skubala and then hire Chris Davies/Russell Martin
