Thomas looked very decent, thought 9 out of the 11 starters were very good, one was fighting form and got a goal, and one was dreadful. Only as strong as your weakest player, and ours has set up more goals than anyone in the league, just not for us

Honestly a player in bad form surely you just don’t take that chance, right back becomes more of a need every week

Mavididi could pass the ball into the goal it’s a different game

So far very decent, best defensively we have been this year, Mavididi looks like he’s trying a bit hard and is bang out of form, but wouldn’t change until well into the second half

Villa tuck McGinn and send Digne bombing forward so naturally we want Ayew to track him with all that work rate and pace he has over the unfit Buonanotte who barely runs, not like Ayew has cost us multiple goals by not tracking his full back this past month alone

Id take Kristiansen and Buonanotte with casts on over their replacements, good lord

True, just had hoped getting in a few days we would start hearing about bids being accepted or declined, which clubs will do to attempt to encourage bidding wars. More than anything it’s just the paranoia of bad windows from the past

Van Dijk is pretty known for not getting dribbled past and not diving into tackles unless it’s a last resort, didn’t he set a record of that ilk a few years back

Honestly mate I wouldn’t want to risk him at rb either at this point, just more from the reports of our finances right now

To be fair JJ played his best football for us as a LB, could be an option as a back up on either side for VK and new rb

Most depressed about the season I have felt so far, seems that Danny the Sieve has relegated us again

Maybe Ipswich look better on the eye to some due to the dim view we have all de used to have this year… their fans certainly don’t think so and a large amount we saying similar about us under cooper… we have had some terrible injury luck and that wolves game was almost entirely dog goalkeeping, we may go down, and we are newly relegated. Did anyone expect better? Most of us were worried about the Derby record this year during the summer and it’s not that bad, truly believe we will run it close this year. You’d think some of our lot were top 4 fans the way we go on after losing away at Liverpool/Newcastle, Isak/Gakpo are worth more than our squad

Upside is we can all stop caring until after Villa, just enjoy our Christmas’ without any pesky hope in the way

We do need a review on the running of the club, any business was ran like this there would be review and top to bottom change made, repeated failure at an executive level. Not just football performance wise but the general match day experience for a fan has gradually gotten worse and worse, the apathy is evident game to game and as much as I love to blame our fans for it, it is sad now, the fanzone was pretty pathetic looking, a car park with a big metal can van

Been a big fan of Ayew but he just can not start and any idea of starting him inevitably ends with the full back on that side being doubled on whilst he ambles around, just not up to scratch…. Ward was the only worst player on the pitch than him whilst it was still a game… Also Skipp was diabolical as was Stephy

Felt bad for him on a human level, if that’s Sunday league he’d have been taken off for his own sake

Think without him we are 0-0 at half time… first isn’t great as he should come out and challenge but two and three are genuinely funny to watch

Bad day but realistically Ward is third choice, Choudhury is 5th and dropping, Skipp is 3/4, we have two full backs who can actually start in the squad, Jan around the corner off the back of two good results. Just glad we are past another grim fixture, can absolutely hammer wolves if O’Neill is still about

If we survive think one of the first things we have to do in the summer is renew if he’s still playing like this, then we can leave or centre midfield, we already have quite a shopping list to bring the squad up to being a ‘mid table’ squad, right now we have an 11 and 4 or 5 worthy back up options
