Him and Aluko could solve a really big problem position for us in house, I’d be happy to let then fight it out at right back

Seems to me he makes educated assumptions based on context, rather than anything necessarily completely factual. Think we are in big trouble but I would be shocked if we sold the entire house, think it’s more likely we try to go up first time and be right on the brink of breaking financial rules. Seems to be how the club do things anyway -
Think out of the ones listed most if not all will find a move at a cut price. Vesty and Faes will end up in Europe, could see Reid in the MLS and some sucker will see what Winks did two years ago in the champ and buy into it.
-
Kone was 2-2.5 rising to 5, although I do agree with the main part of your point. Do think there will be some wiggle room as far structuring a deal could go, for example if Tolaj is rated at 5m by Plymouth we could backload the deal with bonuses for promotion and goals scored etc, think at most it’d be 3-5m for one of the two listed, still asking a lot of our mess
-
Think we have every chance of a top L1 striker. Despite our mess we are probably still just as attractive as lower mid table champ sides if not moreso, as if we can course correct they could be a key player for a top end championship side in a year or two without needing to move twice Edit- Do understand the course correction isn’t likely from our perspective but from an outsider it may mean they choose us over a Portsmouth or Charlton
-
If we can spend a little I’d like Webster from Burton, Tickle from Wigan and Tolaj from Plymouth, and look at Cozier-Duberry either on loan or permanent too

Jordan James joins on loan - Official

If we can afford him I think the contract side will already be agreed? If so hopefully we can sell everyone around him and go into next year with him, Nelson, Souttar and Stolarczyk as our senior spine and build with the young lads and new signings around them, I’d be happy to spend the 5m on him and half the rest of the budget, most of our signings should be freebies or loans anyway -
It’s such a shame because this is our chance to refresh and move on. We are being left behind in the 2010’s, even Man City themselves are moving away from that style. Tactics move in 5 year cycles and we are stuck a cycle back, will be two over the next few years I’m sure

This is where my head is at, really can’t see anything but top half to playoffs regardless of turnover but I really believed that this season our worst case scenario was mid table, and was obviously massively wrong. I do believe it will be harder to get relegated than not but I really believe in this clubs sheer ability to disappoint

He would be a very fair fringe shout for the World Cup, as is Barnes. So depressing.
-
If we do good business early this window, get a good manager in and give our youngsters the chance to break out early, and do all of this at the top end of League one and with high effort football, then I can get behind the actual team again. I need evidence that at least some of the lingering issues have been resolved by this ‘restructure’. As for the owner/rudkin, gonna need 5+ years of the club being ran extremely well for me to even semi accept them existing within the club. Don’t see either happening.

Would be hilarious if they try to fix the mess they began by keeping Rodgers on too long by hiring his assistant as the manager. He’s Russell Martin without the nice hair and page 3 wife, I’ll pass

I’m pretty sure he didn’t play at all in preseason, just went back through the line ups and not seeing him having played a minute, also recall being disappointed he didn’t -

Still can not wrap my head around Braybrooke not even getting a sniff during pre season. May be raw but we have even played BDCR in central midfield this season, surely was worth giving him actual minutes and seeing what he has -
What players will be here next season in Div 1
LCFCCKEANO replied to StevieH's topic in Leicester City Forum
Really hope we don’t do Schlupp, would be better off with a loan or freebie from a prem academy with Thomas there. He should be ok in L1, Callum Elder has been promoted out of it I think twice -

Think we 100% keep- Aluko Joseph Souttar Wilson-Brown Thomas Braybrooke Cartwright Alves Evans Think unless we get a really decent offer we keep- Skipp Monga Nelson Stolarczyk Think unless we can find a buyer- Mavididi Reid Vestegaard Winks Rest I would say are gone for sure (apart from the kids) Think with the parachutes and some good (for league 1) sales and the different PSR, we can recoup 30-40m in little bits along with a lump for Fatawu and maybe Nelson/Monga we should be able to spend 5-10m. Sign James and resell if needs be would be ideal. Think we will have enough to put together a competitive L1 side, but our incompetence in the market will be the big obstacle -
At this point what are we protecting Ramsey and James from, start both and if they get injured they get injured, least they are young and attack minded
-
Really think it’s worth having Otchere on the bench, he looks physically ready and can actually score
-
Stolarczyk Ricardo Souttar Vestegaard Thomas James Skipp Fatawu Monga Ayew Daka 3-0 Portsmouth

Did you not get a sausage roll tee, fake fan imo

Think our sales will cover player expenditure and will leave us a little to spend, I’m less worried about that and more so about who they will waste our money on this time. Those rules do not include expenditure on things like our training ground which I would imagine alongside relegation clauses and players going on a free will leave enough room to at least function as a club. Hopefully bleed in the likes of Braybrooke and Joseph who both seem to have had good L2 seasons performance wise -

Have noticed there is a very specific subsection of older lads who get geared up in the Kop and absolutely can not control their emotions. Chap across from me turns up each week alone and goes bright red screaming and losing his sanity, known as that crazy bloke in our block. Went out for a nice meal recently and he was sat in a shirt and tie discussing art with his wife, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing -
Maybe Wilder brings him back for Sheffield United, that would be the dream, pure profit

LCFCCKEANO replied to MC Prussian's topic in Transfer Talk
Imagine Souttar starts at centre half considering he’s barely played in two years, and I’d probably have Monga out wide and Evans up top but at this point I’m so excited for our squad to be flushed out even if it is crap for a while
