  1. Has put a lot of pressure on the game at their place later this year, don’t necessarily hate what you’re saying, I just don’t know that I have any faith in us to go and beat them later this year when they have their classic Dyche bounce
  2. If we are to finish 17th are Everton not one of the three we need to be above? If so probably need to beat them at home off the back of all losses for them
  3. Think that was a relegation style result, been maybe too positive to this point, that is a grim grim result
  4. Had a look further into the goal and he does actually look offside, as you were
  5. Didn’t check the score as I was out for personal reasons to full time, 2-2 away at a good side is a cracking result and that goal looks onside, we should take a lot of positives that we got to the point of 2-0 up, think today is a good result, and I’m generally very pessimistic, have to understand that we aren’t going to have the same results we did when we were a top ten side
  6. Can see why Italy were desperate to get him capped, on that showing give him a year or two he’s going to be a top player, loved the bite, tackle on McGinn and him shoving the Villa player 5 yards off the pitch after shielding the ball out for a goal kick were highlights, needed a centre back with that aggro who wouldn’t go too far like Soy
  7. On a permanent I agree, for a loan it doesn’t necessarily matter where we finish, it’ll be about the game time he’ll get and the ability to sell himself for a move next year
  8. Followed by Romano and a few other notable names so hopefully has some legs
  9. If we don’t at bare minimum go back in for Fofana on loan for depth something is seriously wrong with our recruitment, seems like such an easy option for a team with one fit striker who is 38
  10. Read the interview in the opposite way, that he sees Ayew as a jack of all trades rather than the out and out striker we’ve been going for, fingers crossed
  11. Few very decent loans seem to be happening, think Nelson and maybe Alves will be gone by this time tomorrow
  12. Very similar record to Sargent at the same age
  13. Pretty sure Dom Solanke had a rank prem record and was considered a failed signing for a good while for Bournemouth, now a £50m player, Sargent is big strong and mobile, he would be ideal if we could work a deal out
  14. Think this and Booth leaving are to build our profit for ffp to hopefully afford a big hit on a striker for 25-30m, as sales aren’t done over a longer period I believe?
  15. Forest are absolutely not in Fulham’s league whatsoever
  16. Our fans are insane sometimes, we were not expecting to win this surely? We kept up, had our chances, for the most part defensively secure, Faes and Vestegaard actually look like prem centre backs which is a far cry from relegation season, this should give us optimism, Southampton got beat and boo’d off at home against Forest and Ipswich were 4-1 down after half an hour
  17. tbf we do seem to only actively pursue one deal at a time, Ayew seemed to actually kick on straight after Skipp, which was right after Hlozek, which was right after Soule etc etc
  18. Think it’ll be this, Ayew and Fofana, think Fotis ship will have sailed with the price tag
  19. I don’t dislike the signing but how in gods name has it taken the whole week to put a transfer through where all parties are clearly interested, every game is vital this year and we have damaged ourselves by not being able to put this through in time for Fulham… how do we expect to put through two transfers next week when we can’t even put Ayew through over 5 days
  20. Any idea what his shirt number is?
  21. From the sounds of it I’m guessing just over £4m up front, £2m in add ons that are very achievable and another £2m in less achievable ones, would make sense with the 4/6/8 fees reported by different journos
  22. Hopefully the signing is to make sure we have the numbers in positions behind the striker before we bid big for our striker option
  23. He’s a willing worker but I’m unsure he has the defensive ‘nous’ of Reid, who does seem very good at not only working back but tracking a man through the lines, bad example but for the Porro goal Reid is shoulder to shoulder with him all the way, I don’t imagine Mavididi would have done the same. Horses for courses, play into your players strengths depending on the set up
  24. If he got a bit bigger and stronger without sacrificing the pace he could be a decent striker, for now think he gets knocked off the ball too easily
  25. Monga won’t be here for long, outrageous for his age
