  1. Technically he’s from a Leicestershire postcode and why are you bothered about Lincoln City? You’re falling into a trap that he’s setting …
  2. Celtic are a vile club. Rangers are a vile club. It’s a real sickener when you see the Rangers/Leicester city flags or scarf combinations.
  3. Not surprised people aren’t really feeling this fa cup final. These are the two clubs that have most pioneered the sanitised football(not style of play) that is on the opposite end of the spectrum to what makes the fa cup special.
  4. What a vile football club.
  5. Best thing about the documentary is that it barely mentions King Power.
  6. It does but the clientele have to go somewhere. I think it’s great.
  7. Most infuriating thing at Tigers is seeing Forest hats/memorabilia then with a Tigers shirt. There’s an extreme view regarding Leicester, when you think those in the county should maybe support their nearest county town rather than the city. It’s one I’ve thought about but normally the reason you support a team is slightly nuanced anyway. Nonetheless, I hate it when people slag the city off whilst supporting the club!
  8. I would argue it’s full of the wrong kind of characters and the beer selection is abysmal.
  9. The Hind is such a funny pub. Only go there when I am meeting friends off the train. Sometimes the cask is some of the worst I’ve ever had but if you’re lucky you’ll get a drinkable theakstons.
  10. Kante? Is the obvious one. I’d argue Vardy and Mahrez were. Cambiasso had a world class brain and left foot. I’d say Fofana was too.
  11. Crafty Dog on Braunstone Gate is pretty hideous. You know it’s full of wronguns because if they weren’t , they’d be in Nine Bar or the Black Horse.
  12. Very sad to read about anyone of such heights(not a prem player though!), has reached such a low point in their life. Having listened to his under the cosh(out of curiosity), he trivialised much of his life with alcohol filling the gaps and being a reason behind certain things. Hopefully he gets the support to have a healthier relationship with booze in the future.
  13. Had a pint in the Ribs of Beef for my birthday in Norwich. Great place for a crawl prior to being in Southwold over the weekend. Really chuffed that the Forresters is giving it a go. Always sad that I missed that crawl round Frog Island/Woodgate and into town by a bout ten years.
  14. It is. I used to go there on lunch breaks before my sister worked at the place.
  15. Deserves no blame for relegation. Will be a really decent premier league player. But the quote about us going down means I can’t be fond of him. Just a player who played for us in our worst season ever.
  16. Unfortunately my sister worked there for a summer. Terrible experience for her which means I discourage anyone from spending any money there.
  17. Great statement. The most worrying thing about relegation for me is the impact on the city. In the space of 18 months we will have gone from 30000 people coming into the city for the football, to under 20000 next season. It was abysmal in the city centre prior to the game on Tuesday, that will be the new norm.
  18. Of course he has but we boo Ayew unconditionally.
  19. He’s not a captain but I don’t blame for this.
  20. Sounds even better if they have still got the whiskies.
  21. Choudhury is our most detestable player. Drink driver. From the city/county and lives in Nottingham.
  22. Yeah that also was just as wrong to sing.
  23. Great list. I am pretty certain I have nearly or have done all city boundary pubs. Never heard of Dew Drop as I have never been to Hathern! The building looks great.
  24. If you look behind the scenes. The rot started as soon as Nigel Pearson left.
