  1. This isn’t good at all.
  2. Leicester East- at least no Vaz.
  3. Vince Cable pointing out the most pertinent issue that will affect everyone in this thread. Who will fund and stop local authorities from becoming bankrupt?
  4. Feel like I’ll be relying on the Tiger bottles left in the cupboard, hoping to stay up for the night!
  5. Unfortunately nothing ‘homemade’ here.
  6. What are people drinking? Just done a bottle of Cava, now on the white port.
  7. I was 11/12 when played for us and I very badly edited his Wikipedia at the time, to something rather defamatory about his football skills, so I wouldn’t worry!
  8. This Reform vote is so concerning. Vile.
  9. He’s a solicitor now, fair play to him.
  10. Exactly my prediction, how many of these potential reform MPs will last for the next five years. Not to also point out that Farage could wind up his company, seeing as they’re not a political party, technically.
  11. I’m only interested in Vaz here but Sunak and some of his mates are well above him. I can’t stand him and it makes me sad that people are willing to give him a second chance. I don’t like Sunak either…
  12. It’s scary stuff but I hope that sky news poll is correct.
  13. Anyone have a prediction for Leicester East? Please not Vaz. I’d hope the anti Vaz hope can unite everyone in this thread.
  14. Fireworks in Western Park currently.
  15. Getting stressed by the projected reform seats, then remember Vaz could be an MP again.
  16. The Labour majority is heartening but the Reform projected seats is frightening.
  17. Move into the city.
  18. Fair enough. I am looking forward to the season starting too!
  19. I believe he does offer a viable alternative. Of course 14 years of destruction to public services and standards of living won’t get better instantly. What would your alternative be?
  20. Because the man has ran public services in the past, worked hard for his own success and offers an alternative to the last 14 years of government. Why don’t you like to listen to him talk? Genuinely interested.
  21. Old Horse looking for new landlords. Never been a fan personally but that’s probably because I don’t like a country pub feel in the city.
  22. Can’t see anything on FT app reporting that.
  23. Please let this be the green light to the end of Faes.
  24. Yes I have, it’s lukewarm at best towards Labour. But they’re still backing Starmer. I personally don’t think they’d back solely because of public pressure to do so, I think they’re backing him because they know he will win. Nonetheless, it’s something at least.
  25. Whilst I wouldn’t recommend much more than wiping your arse with the newspaper, the sun is now backing Starmer. An indication that change is happening…
