  1. Exactly my prediction, how many of these potential reform MPs will last for the next five years. Not to also point out that Farage could wind up his company, seeing as they’re not a political party, technically.
  2. I’m only interested in Vaz here but Sunak and some of his mates are well above him. I can’t stand him and it makes me sad that people are willing to give him a second chance. I don’t like Sunak either…
  3. It’s scary stuff but I hope that sky news poll is correct.
  4. Anyone have a prediction for Leicester East? Please not Vaz. I’d hope the anti Vaz hope can unite everyone in this thread.
  5. Fireworks in Western Park currently.
  6. Getting stressed by the projected reform seats, then remember Vaz could be an MP again.
  7. The Labour majority is heartening but the Reform projected seats is frightening.
  8. Move into the city.
  9. Fair enough. I am looking forward to the season starting too!
  10. I believe he does offer a viable alternative. Of course 14 years of destruction to public services and standards of living won’t get better instantly. What would your alternative be?
  11. Because the man has ran public services in the past, worked hard for his own success and offers an alternative to the last 14 years of government. Why don’t you like to listen to him talk? Genuinely interested.
  12. Old Horse looking for new landlords. Never been a fan personally but that’s probably because I don’t like a country pub feel in the city.
  13. Can’t see anything on FT app reporting that.
  14. Please let this be the green light to the end of Faes.
  15. Yes I have, it’s lukewarm at best towards Labour. But they’re still backing Starmer. I personally don’t think they’d back solely because of public pressure to do so, I think they’re backing him because they know he will win. Nonetheless, it’s something at least.
  16. Whilst I wouldn’t recommend much more than wiping your arse with the newspaper, the sun is now backing Starmer. An indication that change is happening…
  17. Ran 20k today in 1 hour 50 training for something, where I know we’ll be going slowly. Aiming for 30k on Monday, not bothered about the time.
  18. I think he did probably want to go to Chelsea but wouldn’t have been enamoured by a move to Brighton, Brentford etc, with us in the same premier league. A deal has been lined up for him to go somewhere for the past year and he’s been managing his optics in that time superbly. He’s definitely not a snake and deserves to be fondly remembered with the rest of that championship winning team.
  19. Good luck to him after a great season in the Championship. If rumoured fee is correct, we’re lucky to have received so much for him. I bet he didn’t expect to be joining Chelsea, after being so close to joining Fulham last season.
  20. If they can substantiate the claim then fair enough, otherwise they’ve just repeated nonsense rhetoric that Thatcher and even before would have repeated.
  21. Salmon wallpaper has invaded the King Head. Thankfully they can keep a pint and conversation their still!
  22. Leicester West- can’t vote for Kendall, so I will vote Green instead. I did consider the One Leicester party, until they thought Keith Vaz was a legitimate candidate.
  23. I think it would need about 1million minimum to sort it out, even when not changing use.
