  1. Why am I gutted I wasn’t at home to watch the game, even though I was at the King Power tonight? There’s only one Nigel Pearson.
  2. Hopefully there’s more of you, so we can get some more tourist pounds into the city.
  3. Yes, I believe that part is open. It’s just a new extension which is partially under ground level, that isn’t finished. Although, I must confess I’ve not had a proper tour since it’s been reopen, I just have relatives who work for the diocese.
  4. Yes it is but the whole site isn’t open. However, they’re desperate for visitors, likely have guides there waiting for you.
  5. Luke Thomas should get in now.
  6. When I was a kid, me and my brother used to quickly press the light switch on and off to try and trigger my uncle’s epilepsy(I was a terrible 11 year old). That’s what it reminds me of.
  7. Bit of jeopardy for tomorrow. Good job the club hasn’t alienated the fans in the last 24 hours.
  8. Some lads at the top of the high street started singing when you’re smiling using a busker’s microphone, on Saturday after the game. As I was waiting for my taxi, lifted my scarf over my head and joined in. I agree, it’ll be the norm soon.
  9. Neil Collins sacked by Barnsley.
  10. He’s seven years younger than Mavididi I believe. I think Stephy is banging his head on his own ceiling- ability wise but Abdul is only 19 and has shown glimpses that suggest he could be playing in a top league for the rest of his career.
  11. I like rugby but struggle with the Tigers. They were so excited when we were suffering at the thought of moving into our stadium(2007) and making us effectively fee paying tenants. I love Leicester city because I believe the majority of people who support us, want the city as a whole to do well. I don’t believe the majority of Tigers’ fans care about the city. They are from Norfolk, Herefordshire, Cambridgeshire and Rutland, so of course it feels differently. Of course there are exceptions. I can’t say I want them to lose but apathy is probably best to describe my feelings.
  12. Think his game was vs Newport, as I’m certain it was at home. Nonetheless, him and Nelson were ready for a couple of years prior to this season. It would have been brave(which Rodgers wasn’t) but we could have seen Nelson during the 21-22, when we had to play Wilf and others at centre back.
  13. I’m glad that Enzo thinks he’s been great off the pitch.
  14. For the goal the midfield was just as guilty if not more than Coady, as there was no pressure on the passer.
  15. Lovely couple of pints at the real ale classroom. Topped off by the lads who took over the busker at the top of the High Street, and sang the entirety of when you’re smiling!
  16. That’s a sheep.
  17. Also right on the Monsal Trail!
  18. Sorry mate! Was not my intention at all. King Power care about King Power and Leicester city are a vehicle for that. You are Leicester till you die and you’ll always be more a Leicester fan than Aiyawatt.
  19. I was very lucky to attend as a season ticket holder. But I remember someone I knew at the time working at a Leicestershire stables and being inundated with people from Thailand who had tickets to the game, wanting to hack out in Leicestershire countryside. I’ll also never forget having to watch the portrait of the King of Thailand being paraded about during the celebrations.
  20. Personally think we should all agree on here to never talk about the castle, so we don’t have to worry about getting tables!
  21. Well it’s had a terrible refurb befitting of a spoons etc. However, the new landlord has become a bit better at keeping their beer, first pint I had in October had a fairy liquid head! It’s a bit out the way, I suppose that can be for better or for worse.
  22. And Southampton keep getting better and better.
  23. Bowling Green is the only pub in town where I’ve had a dodgy stomach from beer.
  24. So what we’re saying is, if we line up 442 against WBA, Coady will be our Cambiasso like the 2014-2015 season.
