Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
jayfox26 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
As shit as Daka is, hes a better option than Ayew. Waste of space. Him having the shirt number of our goat really shows what a disgrace we've become. -
Probably not. I think many thought sacking marti would sort things out. Everyone should be hounding Top out of this club. Its not even a about results or what league we are in, we will be liquidated within 12 months if he doesn't go.
-
You wouldn't see Sunday league or even school boy players defend like that. To allow the striker to turn and get away from him was pathetic but to then get himself sent off in the first half, ultimately meaning we will lose, is unacceptable. Players make mistakes but when they are completely brain dead like that, there is just no hope.
-
Ill go to games again in league one. So long as Top and his clowns are all gone.
-
Owner, board, coaches, scouting, players (except youth) every single person needs removing. The club is toxic and every single one of them has contributed to that. I dont want a single one of these players, except the youth lads, at this club after this summer. Full reset is the only way to correct the toxic disgrace this club has become. I'm honestly at the point where i believe that nobody, other than the fans, actually gives a shit, and even many of the fans are now starting to not even care. Horrible club.

If we lose at home two games in a row to two of the worst teams in this league, I just dont see how we can possibly stay up. We are such a bad side, its gone beyond embarrassing now
-
I'm all for getting behind Kingy and the players but let's not let a change of manager detract from the fact everyone should be fiercely protesting against Top and his board. Sacking Marti may improve results but it won't improve the absolute shambles going on behind the scenes. The interview Top did should further fuel people's anger towards him. It is however about getting the balance between our anger against the owner and our support for King and the players

A clean sheet. Behave

Still a good deal -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

Dont see what your problem is, we have a PE teacher as director of football so may as well get a PE teacher as coach as well. We'll be relying on school kids to play for us next season anyway so makes perfect sense -
Lotsa money has joined on loan from Macquarie

I don't think Hilda Winks and Hilda Soumare are on here. Hilda Rudkin might be though

Marti's gone, what happens to January recruitment?

Playing in Dubai isnt he? -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

I personally don't think we should be looking long term. We need someone to come in and stabilise us, get us organised, improve the culture, get the players fitter, possibly on an 18 month contract (someone like Mowbray). We certainly should not be dishing out 3+ year contracts or we'll never get out of the cycle of paying managers off -
I mean yeh its totally unwarranted isnt it. There is so much positivity around the club right now, I've no idea at all why any of our fans would be negative. I think some people should "be careful what they wish for" and remember that "we were in league 1 once". Ill be happy to give the boys a good round of applause when we get pumped at home to Charlton.

There is. The polo department. The horse racing department.
-
True but the club generally do the opposite of what the fans want. In which case I really hope we hire Russell Martin
-
Part of me did feel a bit sorry for him as he inherited a weak squad and has had no money to spend on new signings but I soon realised how incredibly dire this league is, and the weak squad he inherited should absolutely be doing better. Aside from the results and league position, we have been awful to watch, cant keep a clean sheet, barely create any chances and usually rely on a moment of magic to get a goal. The only reason I can think hes stayed this long is because we can't afford to sack him but id argue, we cant afford not to. Our finances are already in a dreadful state and if we go down to league one then we'll be in serious danger of administration or worse. The only way we can begin to course correct the club is by staying up, shifting all the high earners in the summer and hoping the youth lads can give the championship a good go next season. Never thought id say it but Mowbray is the way forward. Experienced championship manager that will quickly turn things around and get results.
-
Tony Mowbray would be cheap, would likely jump at the chance to join us, would be pragmatic and get us back to basics, sort our defence and make us hard to beat. But that would make too much sense and we'd rather go full banter era and get Russell Martin. But the likelihood is he stays as we can't afford to sack him. I'm sure the powers that be have accepted we won't be getting promoted but i do genuinely wonder if they dont realise how in danger we are of being relegated.
-
Can see it now that we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of our title win with a relegation to league one. How very Leicester. Come 2031 and we can celebrate 10 years of our fa cup win with a relegation to the national league
-
Nobody would change our past successes but we can't use them as an excuse for rank under performance and mis management now. If we think like "we've won the league and fa cup so nothing else matters" then we may as well fold the club and we can all find some other ways to pass our time.
-
A relegation 6 pointer and we perform like that. We are cooked!
-
Its unbelievable that the happy clappers with their "through the good times and the bad" and "be careful what you wish for" bollocks dont understand that this isnt about results or league position or success, this is about the actual future of our club. If Top doesn't go we can and will go bust. What will they do then when there isnt a team for them to clap off when we lose at home to Oxford. Fecking imbeciles!
