You can have an opinion on what you think our strongest 11 is but I get that we have 3 players that haven't actually kicked a ball for us yet

Assuming everyone is fit, what do we think is our strongest 11 this season? I'd say certain positions are nailed on when fit, like Stolarczyk, Fatawu, Ricardo but it could be argued every other position is up for grabs. Of course with the amount of games we'll have, the team will change slightly from game to game. For me using Marti's 4-2-3-1 Stolarczyk,.Ricardo, Okoli, Vestergaard, Thomas, James, Soumare, Ramsey, Fatawu, Mavididi, Carranza (hoping he's good as we don't want.Daka or Ayew starting regularly). Next 11 Begovic, Hamza, Nelson, Faes, kristiansen Winks, Skipp, Page, Ayew, Monga, Daka I've gone with Mavi as starter over Monga as I feel Monga can offer so much more off the bench against tiring defences as we saw against Birmingham. Winks could be a challenge for Soumare if he gets his head sorted and gives his all. Same could also be said for Faes as we know he's good at this level but his relationship with the fans seems an issue.

Fair points. I think where we have done well is getting £12m for Mcateer and £10m for JJ. The biggest win is arguably financially as we have massively reduced our wage bill, made money from player sales and not actually paid for any players other than loan fees. Of course the squad could be stronger and we'd have liked VK, Soumare, Faes, Daka and Winks to leave but overall we have a side that should compete at the top of the table in this league. Keeping Monga and Fatawu were huge plusses and also not signing any shite on big wages is a huge step forward for us.

Would make sense, wouldn't imagine Burnley would be wanting to sell Ramsey given his age and potential (if he's recovered from his injury). That could change however if he does well here and we go up and they get relegated
