If we'd have brought Huth and Cambiasso out of retirement we might have had a chance. Joking aside I actually think these 2 now would still be better than most of the muck we have in our squad this season.
-
Because we haven't received any compensation for him. It's not exactly needy as not one person has suggested we want him back or need him in our squad. Then only thing we do need is paying our compensation that is due for him.

Congratulations on announcing to foxestalk that you piss yourself 🤣

That was as corrupt as it gets. I'm not a conspricay theorist but there is absolutely zero logic in the free kick being given and then the offside not being given. To be shafted once is unfortunate but to be shafted twice in the space of a minute that leads to a winning goal is simply corruption. Would either the free kick been given or the offside not given if it was at the other end? 100% not on both counts. I expected nothing from tonight but to lose like that is absolutely disgusting!
-
We can't offer him a pro contract until he's 17
-
To lose from a free kick that wasn't a free kick and the goal was blatantly offside is beyond a joke. Corruption at its finest
-
We all know Mcateer offers little, so I'd rather have seen Monga given a go to be honest.
-
I'll dm you 😉

How many tickets have we sold tonight? I won't be watching as I'm taking the wife to the pub, rather see her get rogered (by me I'm not into cuckolding) than watch this bunch of over paid nobs, get rogered by a shite Man U.

Rudkin says no unless you'll accept 5 years on £50k a week.
-
Do we have any centre backs other than Vestergaard that actually want to be here? Okoli homesick apparently. Coady wants out. Faes has wanted out for 18 months. At this point I'd just get Morgan and Huth out of retirement. Even Walsh and Elliott would give it more of a go than these absolute wasters
-
Were you being ironic here?
-
Kind of understand what you're saying but many players we've sold and have had good grace amongst our fans, but Chilwell has always seemed a bit of a bell end towards us to be honest.

Development/Youth Squads 2024/2025 Thread - U18/U21

Anyone know what's happened to Golding? Haven't seen him in the youth squads recently. -
It is amongst the happy clappers, of which there are many.
-
Is it?
-
Happy clappers, who think they are supporting the club, are actually doing the opposite.
-
100% agree with this although I can see it would be an unpopular opinion amongst many of our fan base. I honestly cannot stand Rodgers. Horrible little snake that is all about himself and doesn't give 2 fcks about the clubs he's at.
-
I see it from both sides this argument. It's clear that Rodgers was right and that the people at the top are incompetent but I can also see why they didn't want to back him with more money as him and his mate Congerton filled the squad with a load of shite on high wages, some of which we still haven't shifted now. Summer 2021 when we broke the mould of not selling a player to fund our transfers and then went ahead and signed Daka, Soumare and Vestergaard for nearly £60m ultimately lead to our ffp issues and meant that we've not been able to have any decent transfer windows since.
-
Others have disagreed with me but I honestly feel we wouldn't be in this mess if Vichai was still here. He was a major business man and he would not have tolerated the mistakes made by people at the club that would have ultimately cost him money if he was still here. Yes he hired Whelan and Rudkin but I'm sure he'd have easily fired them as well if he was here to witness their abject failure to run the club. I feel Vichai would have overseen things more and had his eye on the ball as opposed to Top who has ultimately allowed others to run the club into the ground with no consequences.
-
Maybe a daft question but with Monga being in school, would he be allowed to be in the squad for the Man U game? Our highly paid and pampered pros Probably spend time at the sauna and jacuzzi at the training ground before the Man U game whilst Monga is doing algebra and physics or what other shite they do in school these days
-
Probably still reckons he's worth £200k a week in wages, not to mention his stinking attitude

Is relegation a price worth paying for avoiding a PSR breach?
jayfox26 replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The only reason I would accept us not trying to sign anyone in Jan is because Top has no faith in the recruitment team and is planning on sacking them all including Rudkin but we all know this will never happen. -

I don't think we've had too many signings over the years from other prem teams that have been successful. In our current squad alone, Vestergaard, Winks, Skipp, Coady, Ayew, BDCR all signed from prem clubs and none have been particularly successful although Winks was good last season but has been dreadful this season. Not sure why we don't sign more players from the championship. We had success with Maddison and Justin initially before his injuries but now we just don't seem to take any risks with championship players. When we sign players from other prem teams, chances are they are already on big wages and will want similar or more. Championship players are on much lower wages so is less of a gamble if they don't quite work out.
