£10m for Chiesa is a great deal for Liverpool. I believe he's had injuries but he's a hell of a player when fit.
-
A championship loan would be good for him in a team that likes to play football like Middlesbrough. I know they got spanked at home to stoke in the cup but Carrick generally has them playing decent stuff. The Luton loan was the making of KDH so a simular thing here would be good. A years experience in the championship and if we do go down then he'd be absolute mustard in the championship for us next season.

Sad news about Nacional player Juan Izquierdo who sadly died after suffering cardiac arrest playing against Sao Paulo in the Copa Libertadores. 27 years old. Rest in peace young man.

Anyone got a link to the goals?
-
Yeh was just looking at his career to see if he'd worked with Cooper previously but doesn't look like he has. We're not the tallest team but don't always need to be of there is planning goes into set pieces. Out of the usual starting 11 we only have Vester, Faes and Ndidi that are tall. Kristiansen isn't a bad height for a full back.
-
Do we have anyone at the club currently that works on set pieces? Worth its weight in gold for any team fighting at the bottom of the table if we can score some goals from set pieces like we did against Fulham.
-
Yep other clubs do manage to do it. At the KP however, any time people do try to say/chant anything negative, the happy clappers kick off. Clubs a state all over including some of the fans.
-
If we do manage to sell Faes would we not have enough cover with Vester, Okoli, Coady and Nelson? Think I'd rather put the money towards a striker. Not sure how much money we have left to pay on Faes but anything £15m+ should be accepted in my opinion. Decent player but his constant brain farts in most games are something we can do without at this level. Got away with it in the championship as most championship attackers are crap but the pl is less forgiving.
-
This is his problem. He can be a good defender but he goes all David Luiz at least once a game and does something utterly ridiculous that often leads to the opposition getting a chance.
-
I don't think he has a clue as the home support is so passive and shows little in the way of anger towards the board members. Rudkin should get absolute pelters but he doesn't and the fact he's still employed must show Top is happy with him, so as far he's concerned, he's doing a great job..

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
jayfox26 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nope. Score a hat trick or get in the bin -
Never going to happen as our home support is full of "happy to be here" and "we were in league 1 once" mentality people. So many love Top and won't hear a bad word said about him or anything at the club. It's almost like some of our fan base don't really care anymore because we won the league and the fa Cup so nothing matters anymore other than hitting their clappers every so often and lapping up the free beer and donuts. We must have one of the most passive home support in the country.

Paddy Power have paid out on everton to get relegated 🤣

Strange but given his injury woes, I can't see Ricky going full throttle in training. Justin has also had injury worries but is a fair few years younger than Ricky. To an extent i understand that .managers want to see players show their best in training but exceptions should be made. Many good players weren't great in training for differing reasons but the main thing is if they produce on match day like Ricky has time and time again
-
Think people are disappointed with Coopers tactics and team selections but I agree, we are pretty poor
-
Yes it's because it's £40m pure profit on the books. The other signings we've made are amortised over their contracts so minimum outlay on this seasons books. Like you though, I'm no expert so I could be wrong.
-
Agreed, Ricky is comfortable on the ball which we've been lacking and Mavi is a great outlet with his pace. Whilst Bobby works hard, we can't just have a team of hard workers, we need some.quality that can affect the game at the top end of the pitch. Ayew and Bobby could be good for us at certain times but I wouldn't want to see them both start. Ayew could work up top if he had Mavi and Fatawu running off him but still feel we need another striker and an attacking mid to fill the KDH void like you mentioned.

Yep 2 goals in 2 games is a positive and with some better decision making in the final 3rd, we could have had a couple more

1-1 against Spurs was a good result. 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage isn't horrendous as they are strong at home. It's the way we've been dominated in both games that's concerning. We probably expected to get dominated by spurs but we shouldn't be getting dominated by Fulham. They are a bang average side who will finish in the bottom 6 this season in my opinion. The other concerning thing is we just don't seem to have any game plan. Against spurs we hung on and fought our way to scrape a draw but today you could say our luck ran out. The two goals conceded today were utter piss as well which is doubly annoying.
-
Was he suggesting here that Ricardo hasn't been good in training?
-
Biggest shock for me was Winks. Absolutely dreadful. Not expecting to win the ball back or make tackles but I am expecting him to actually pass the ball to a leicester player and get us moving forward. He was utterly atrocious today. Buonanotte didn't get on the ball enough and the whole game plan didn't seem right. Fulham are a bang average side who I fully expect to be involved in a relegation battle and they completely dominated us. Didn't expect us to win, but certainly didn't expect complete domination. Our team may not be great but we're better than the utter muck we saw today. Can accept being dominated by spurs and the other big clubs but not feckin Fulham.
