No you're right, I'm just giving an extreme example of the greed in football and in the entertainment industry as a whole. I won't pay for sky, as it's too expensive. Sky don't care as they have millions of subscribers. If everyone boycotted sky, or oasis tickets, or premier league matches, only then would they have to bring prices down to a sensible level, but it won't ever happen as there are always people willing to pay and willing to be ripped off.

The problem we have, whether it be Oasis or football etc, is that there will always be someone, somewhere, willing to pay obscene prices. I've said for years, the big (and soon all) premier league clubs, could not care less about the average fan from the local area. Even season ticket holders, they don't care less as they don't make enough money out of you. The big clubs would rather fill their stadiums with 'fans' from abroad who don't care what the cost is for a ticket and will also buy merch in the shop and food and drink in the stadium. For example, 1 season ticket holder could but a season ticket for £500, and that's them done for a year. They don't buy food or drink on match day and.dont buy merch in the shop. 'Fan' from China etc would pay £100+ for a match ticket, buy food and drink in the ground plus bags of nonce tackle out of the shop. That one 'fan' could spend nearly as much in one game as a season ticket holder has for a season. I know my example are extreme and I know some season ticket holders obviously do spend more money at the club than just their ticket, but the bottom line is, football is greedy, be it clubs, owners, media etc, they all want to get as much money as possible out of the fans and even when some people say, enough is enough, I'm not paying that anymore, someone else will always come along and pay it.

I said the same. Once the tickets surged everyone should have said feck off and they'd have looked like muppets with 1000's of unsold tickets. But like with everything, including football tickets, merch, tv subs, stupid people will always continue to overpay for stuff so the companies/bands/clubs etc will continue to rip people off.

Yep I thought this, their tactical fouls and feigning injury stopped our momentum at 2-1. The sides towards the top of the league are the worst for the dark arts, especially Man C. Man C have 70% possession every week and on the odd occasion a team does get the ball back they just foul you to stop you breaking. I've always said we are a little soft and a bit naive when it comes to the whole dark arts side of the game. I don't condone it but sometimes, if you can't beat them, join them.

Villa love a tactical foul to break up momentum. Ref was weak and allowed their nonsense to carry on. Don't think they are a great side to be fair and with a little more endeavour from the start, we'd have had more of a chance. Other than Man C, Liverpool and Arsenal, I don't think the league is that great this season and we need to stop shitting ourselves against average teams.

When he gets his head down and focuses and plays at his best, he can be very good. But nearly every game he has a complete brain fart which often leads to the opposition getting a chance. As i said previously, he got away with a lot last season because championship strikers are garbage. He won't get away with as many this season if he carries on with the stupidity.

Will there come a point when greed in football makes the whole thing come crashing down? As it stands there are people that are willing to pay the ridiculous prices for tv subscriptions, match tickets, merch etc but could there be a day when people say enough is enough? Alot of average football fans from the UK have already had enough but now football seems to cater for people abroad that will pay ridiculous prices to watch the PL and champions league. For me personally, I used to watch any and every game that I could on TV. Now I rarely watch anything other than Leicester as I just don't seem to give as much as a fck as I used to.

I'd also be interested to know if this was voted on by the 92 football league clubs or was it just decided by the cartel? There isn't a vote in football anymore. Even in the pl, don't they need 14 clubs to agree in order to change anything?

Never been a problem before so why now? It's complete bollocks. Just making it even harder for any smaller team to win a trophy. I'm at a point now where I wish they would fck off to a European super league.
