We haven’t even had our day in court yet. We likely broke the rules, yeah, but the number of people who are willingly accepting punishment based on charges is astounding. We’re talking charges here, not verdicts. The process has only just started with the PL and we still haven’t submitted our final accounts for our Championship season.

That’s probably the best prediction of what will happen in the future, to be fair. We are taking a huge gamble here.

Fully agree here, even if we have done wrong. Either one of the leagues will likely get us in the end but we’re absolutely right to push back, especially at the EFL, who we’ve already beaten once. Now it looks like they are trying stunts to force us into PSR failure after they’ve already been told that a relevant rule does not apply to us.

The last and highly-relevant case, I might add.

I’m sorry but there isn’t a single club on the planet that would do that in at this point in the process, especially after the EFL just lost the last case.

This reeks of some jobsworths at the EFL intent on seeing through all of their remedies for a rule they’ve already gotten slapped back on.

This is flawed logic on so many levels.

I doubt the people in the middle of that lot at that time would have taken too fondly to a kop filled with older folks and people moaning all game long even when things are going well. Before we take shots at the younger folks, let’s just remember that they’re only looking for the same opportunities afforded to those in that video to let loose and add something to the matchday experience but have faced nothing but numerous roadblocks.

Without taking this thread too far off course, this is an exaggeration and kind of a tired stereotype of the country (that’s really a continent). Standards will vary greatly by location but there are plenty of places in the United States with a stronger safety net than what’s offered in the UK, just as there are places in the States where people would be over the moon with £85 each week in JSA payments, for example, which would be paltry in comparison to unemployment and other welfare benefits in New York. I did just get home from my weekly gunfight for a loaf of bread, though, so maybe I’m wrong. Survival of the fittest, as you say.
