@Ric Flair’s Coca-Cola story on @The Fosse Way and his kedgeree story on @BSLBPod were genuinely two of the highlights of my week.

This is flawed logic on so many levels.

I like Enzo (a lot, I might add). But I don’t know if he’s got the experience to see out this mission successfully.

Have you ever had a job or a boss?

Thank you!! I will be a few thousand miles away this weekend and will happily make a cash donation.

It’s a foodbank not a weight-loss clinic. People who need food deserve it without having go along with someone else’s prejudices. Bravo to @Union FS for all of the impactful and non-judgmental work you do in the community with The Bridge.

Flew in overnight from NYC and went pretty much straight to Watford on no sleep after landing. This play alone was worth every second and mile of the journey.

Best thread title since Ex Players - They used to play for us

Out of Contract Summer 24 …… let’s get excited about nothing.

Still the greatest transfer link of all time. -
I doubt the people in the middle of that lot at that time would have taken too fondly to a kop filled with older folks and people moaning all game long even when things are going well. Before we take shots at the younger folks, let’s just remember that they’re only looking for the same opportunities afforded to those in that video to let loose and add something to the matchday experience but have faced nothing but numerous roadblocks.

Without taking this thread too far off course, this is an exaggeration and kind of a tired stereotype of the country (that’s really a continent). Standards will vary greatly by location but there are plenty of places in the United States with a stronger safety net than what’s offered in the UK, just as there are places in the States where people would be over the moon with £85 each week in JSA payments, for example, which would be paltry in comparison to unemployment and other welfare benefits in New York. I did just get home from my weekly gunfight for a loaf of bread, though, so maybe I’m wrong. Survival of the fittest, as you say.

Contract for life.

Get this going on the terraces.

Or it means we banked on fluking a sale of another player that would suit us and help with FFP but that never happened. Personal terms with the player would have already been sorted.
-
I don’t think you’re getting the point. The frustration has nothing to do with Sensi being the next Messi.
-
Ridiculous logic. I know you have enough common sense to answer both of those questions.
-
Just want to say you’ve had a string of bangers on FT lately. Excellent work and thank you for the laughs, good sir.
-
Nobody on here has an issue comprehending that. Why is it do difficult for you to consider that this whole deal was a mockery? The club had to know that a sale was always required, yet they still flew in Sensi for a medical at the 11th hour when we were nowhere near selling a player.
-
Has there been one report that Inter have caused the problem? It’s clear we could not figure our way out of the FFP constraints, that’s not Inter’s problem.

This is what happens when the Director of Football has better things to do than directing the football.
