  1. I wasn’t saying PSR caused it, but it certainly maintains it. Other than that I don’t disagree with anything you’re saying. We have to find a solution that levels it out on the grass because if money wins the game and money isn’t even. Then it barely meets the definition of competition. What is the point if we are all just here to make up the numbers?
  2. Yes but commercial revenue growth is unobtainable without continued success on the pitch. Chicken and egg. It’s no longer a proper competition. The Premier League is 3 mini leagues in reality. If PSR is the solution for the non big 6 clubs, I’m not sure I understand what the problem was. PSR is sky sports wet dream come true. All clubs and fans with any ambition beyond mediocrity should oppose this imo.
  3. Did you miss the Audi cup?
  4. How can non big 6 clubs build up revenue to ever compete under PSR? If PSR came in 10-15 years earlier, Man City and Chelsea would be also rans permanently. Removing external investment, is removing competition. Watching the trophies bounce between the big 6 is like watching a lava lamp. I’d rather clubs go to wall trying to achieve success than be in suspended animation like Palace or Fulham etc.
  5. By calling out PSR for what it is, does not mean we are calling for zero rules regarding finances. Asking for a fair and level playing field that doesn’t stifle forward thinking nor favour the status quo is not unreasonable. I’m not defending our owners by any means but PSR stinks to high heaven.
  6. At a game involving Southampton most likely.
  7. Hope we win by cheating.
  8. On a positive note, Doyle is now suspended.
  9. If you are quick, you can hit reader view before the paywall kicks in. And get the full article.
  10. On the spot execution for the compromise?
  11. Thanks for that, it’s interesting. The insurance was taken out through my business insurance, so I’ll go back to them now and try and negotiate.
  12. I had my van broken into and all my kit stolen last week. Insurance need all serial numbers and receipts which rules out all of the expensive test equipment I’ve had for over a decade. it’s a nightmare. I hope you find them.
  13. For the next general sale?
  14. Is the CBS an abbreviation for Coventrys Borrowed Stadium?
  15. You can get into trouble for both, if Ill advised. Claiming someone evaded tax (when they merely believed they were legally avoiding it), which is an offence punishable by jail. Is pretty disgusting really.
  16. Tax avoidance, very different.
  17. His injury record isn’t that bad. He is 6 months older than Winks and has played an almost identical amount of career games. I think this will be a good move to be honest.
  18. Well technically we beat Portsmouth there in the league (playoff semi final) 1993. Joachim scored.
  19. Not our greatest performance but loads of positives to bring forward. In the hat.
  20. I’m turning Maswanhise, I think I’m turning Maswanhise, I really think so.
  21. Liveonsat.com https://m.liveonsat.com
  22. I think they are talking about Rodgers, not @Raj
  23. Is this to tune of the Skol song?
  24. Totally agree Pele would be insane, I’d go conservatively for Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
  25. Yeah the title is in the bag now
