  1. I genuinely don't understand what we're doing anymore. We sell KDH in the summer for £30m for supposedly PRS reasons, but then spend £80m. We recall Cannon and flog him £10m, even though his competition is Daka (not good enough) and Edouard (absolutely not good enough). Not saying Cannon is the answer, but any worse than those two? Then we get offered a similar deal for a player who isn't going to be a top level player, barely gets minutes and when does, offers very little? I'm sure thre can be arguments made to keep him, but we literally have no strategy anymore. It's just 'fly by the seat of our pants' and hope it all turns out well. Which it wont
  2. we must be the only side on this earth that counter attack by passing it backwards
  3. Well that was absolute cockpiss wasn't it?!
  4. Remember when Ndidi was an absolute animal winning the ball back? Now he's Junior Lewis
  5. No, they're just not good enough
  6. I know some supporters will always defend and support the manager and that's fair enough I suppose, but how can anyone watch that and think "Cooper's still the man for us". It was so limp and painful
  7. I don't particularly have anything against Cooper but he isn't the man for us. I assume he only got the job because others thought we were going to get deducted points (like we all did), so if it was reset and we went back to June knowing that, he wouldn't have got it would he? And since he's been here he done nothing to suggest he's the right man for the job. We won today fine, but it was painful. Yes we are a 'newly promoted team' but it was Bournemouth not Arsenal and we spent the 2nd half in our own half
  8. Cr@p. We all know how this ends, so why don't we just make a change now and save us months of painful football?
  9. Clearly you've supported us for a long time to have those instincts!
  10. Didn't he reject because he said he wanted one more year with Pep? I'm sure that's the reason given, could be wrong
  11. I don't disagree with what you're saying, but we have also lost just under £200million over the last three financial results So the w@nk financial decisions from our CEO had an impact on our lack of spending. Which lead to our relegation. So both are to blame
  12. Interesting reading, but it does show you can only take stats so far. Doesn't tell you the whole story
  13. Until 2026 I believe. Cant understand why we gave him a new deal when, like you say, he can't keep himself fit for half a dozen games in a row.
  14. For the people saying Ricardo will leave, people are forgetting his horrific injury record over the past 3 years. No one will either pay money for him or match his wages. So he will be here next season regardless.
  15. Got shag all to do with fitness, they don't want it enough. How many times this season have we conceded goals were they just didn't want it enough? Brentford at home Saints at home Forest away (the entire game) The Brighton equaliser at home. And that's just off the top of my head
  16. If this is true then I'm absolutely flabbergasted. Utter incompetency at all levels in the club
  17. Premier league not FA I thought?
  18. If the club had just communicated this at the end of last season they could've saved themselves (and us) a whole lot of negativity and worry amongst supporters. We can't guess this stuff it needs to be communicated
  19. What always stick out in my head whenever I think of that season is Tony James's fantastically accurate lob over Muggletons head (think it was him), great finish. Shame it was an own goal but still, great lob.
  20. The 1990/91 season review is something all younger City supporters should watch, just to see how bad we actually were under David Pleat. The defending will either make you laugh... or cry.
