Because at this level it’s not sustainable. The average wage in the Championship is about 20k and we have had years of financial mismanagement which has caused us to be in the position we are now. We should be looking for young, hungry players who have the ability to make us money in a year or twos time and not players that are looking for a payday IMO.

Im no expert but I end up watching all sorts of shit on YouTube about different running shoes and I don’t think I’ve ever seen them mentioned as being up there with the best. I feel like with ON, they look great but probably aren’t massively regarded as great running shoes but I might be wrong.

This, unsurprisingly, has ruined me. Just been to the gym for my upper body session which is quite light and I had nothing in the tank from the start.

Might be worth taking one before you start or even trying to get your heart rate up in a quick warm up. I do generally find that the start is often the hardest bit and have to mentally battle past that stage to keep going.

Do you take energy gels out with you? I wasn’t enjoying it today until I had my first on 6k which really helped. Also finding listening to podcasts really helps on longer runs because I get distracted much easier.
