He's been shit here but has looked good elsewhere, meh yes Russian league but always looked a threat in CL.
-
He has the right attributes to be such a useful weapon in this division. He's raw, quick and does have an eye for goal, reminds me a bit of Antonio without the aerial threat. (If he could play to his strengths, but he really doesn't) He's so lacking in confidence and it's so painful to watch. All you want is for him to run at the fullback and deliver something, anything, even bloody Schlupp did that. Really hope he comes good and I don't think the signing was as random and not thought though like some are making out. He was a quick striker similar in style to Vardy who could operate in a number of positions, had CL experience and had a decent record v English clubs. Remember we were after him when Walsh was around. Hasn't worked out but it was good ambition shown by the club.

First prem start in a while/ever?! Think we can give him the benefit of the doubt. Absolutelt buzzing for Benny I've been a fan of his little cup appearances, really like the guy and think he's a decent prem centre half.

Interesting stat. Good to see he didn't shy away from the Carroll battle too, as Saturday was a tough game for him to suddenly come in to.
-
Probably nothing about Leicester don't think they were here at the same time
-
No way is he better than Drinkwater. Agree with the rest

Everytime I've seen him play before joining us (in the CL for CSKA Moscow) hes looked great. Energetic, Pacey, direct, not always a final ball but in general a decent goal scoring threat- everything he hasn't looked here. Only thing I can really blame that on is confidence? There was a point in the Sevilla game first half where he was one on one with the left back. Both of them totally isolated on one half of the pitch. I was begging for him to play the ball round him and burn him with this so called pace he has, but went for a cross/pass from miles out. For me this screams lack of confidence, at Moscow he would've said see ya later and darted round the ****

Type his name into Twitter. Dons fans love him
-
Same. Always thinks he tries to roll others in (usually Vardy) far too often instead of going alone. Aside from his shot from a tight angle very early on against Chelsea he nearly always lays it off

Birch taken ill at awards ceremony

My heart sank. Agreed with the last bit, never met him but feel I've known him for years. Brilliant bloke. Its a shame it's taken this for people to speak out about how much of a lcfc legend he is (myself included, no criticism of anyone!) he really deserves to be treated as the great ambassador he is. -
5m for Nugent was great business really wasn't it
-
I don't think anyone, not just most of our fans or football fans in general actually appreciate how good this guy is. Rate him as one of the best in the premier league, amazing how much he's progressed since we bought him from Leeds for pittance.
-
Got a good feeling about Amartey. Due to Drinky coming back, and the minor switch in formation/personnel and the fact it shouldn't be just him and King in there being torn to shreds should mean less responsibility. Reckon he'll be far more confident.
-
Konchesky was quality here
-
Exactly. I bet the players still respect him as much as they would if he screamed and shouted all game
-
Why does everyone act like Wes is a shit captain when nobody except the players and staff have a clue what he's like in and around the dressing room Yes he seems (more) quiet on the pitch but he does speak and has led by example with his performances over the duration he's been here (I'm not talking about this seasons monstrosities) Schmeichel might shout and bawl at the lads but Wes might offer more constructive communication, and like someone above has said speaking in front of the media and your team are completely different. Wes has been colossal over the last few years and deserves a bit more respect. What good would it do taking the captaincy from him and giving it to Kasper

Vardy, his finishing has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. One poor spell with no service doesn't make him a bad striker. Slimani is a better goalscorer than Kramaric. Id even suggest Ulloa is. Aside from a lethal spell in a terrible league Kram has done little to suggest he can score goals regularly in a top league. Hes looked better as a #10 than a #9, as shown by his chances created and assists stats this year. (PS not a dig at Kramaric, good little player just not a natural goal scorer in my opinion)
-
Technically yes, most natural goalscorer NO

Can't believe BBC sport posted that on their website, probably the most unfunny and tragic video I've ever watched

Been brought into a team playing well below par, the delivery to him is utterly atrocious (whether he's on the wing or up front) and the transfer fee is bound to put a bit of pressure on. Oh, and he's only been here 3 odd months. Although his basic footballing skills are poor He's clearly a threat and would/will be far more effective in a more attacking/confident side, ie us last season
-
Must be said I find it very odd that over the years King has slowly lost his eye for goal, maybe only grabbing one a season when he used to be one of our main threats between 2010-13 ish. Amartey I just find bizzarre. He looks scared to do absolutely anything other than play a 3 yard pass back to the person who's just given him the ball. Maybe he feels more comfortable playing centre half? I don't know. We need to change things up though because 442 clearly isn't working. As others have said I think it would do us the world of good and Amartey the world of good to revert to a midfield 3 where he won't get ripped apart so easily! There's a player in there somewhere. oops quoted the wrong post
-
Just bitterness, they would've loved getting one over us today. They're bang average prem players under a dark ages manager, and they'll never achieve what our boys have. Jealously is all it is. Take it with a pinch of salt
-
One us the game?
-
This. He's been found out against the top sides this season but has been adequate to decent against the lesser sides. What do you expect of a centre mid that plays for Leicester city- last season was a total utter miracle. He has looked poor against Chelsea Liverpool Utd but personally blame Ranieri for this. We've gone into each of the 3 games not looking like we have a plan, a decent structure at the back or in midfield and look a shadow of the side we were last season.

Ah fair enough guys. Didn't look at the rest of the XI at all just went straight for Demarai's name!
