We need to be realistic though. Most top drawer talent wouldn't touch Leicester at the moment. Secondly from a partner perspective, we have some way to go before big/reputable brands come knocking. For now I would expect to see more Asian brands and murky gambling sponsors etc etc. Awful form, financial instability, widespread criticism of leadership, declining attendances etc etc....Apple and Sony won't be answering calls for now.

Exactly this. I understand that he's got pedigree and a decent track record and reputation. Whilst he isn't the guy from Barcelona people would hope for on here....he certainly isn't a local Leicester guy who has worked here for 20 years and gets promoted to the role. He's an actual external voice with real experience. Good luck to him. Also to add - he is a director....he's not the top brass in the club and will report into whoever becomes and CEO and have a dotted line into Rudders. You'll probably never hear from him. His job is to get sponsors through the door and open up streams of revenue for the club.

I think it's more likely that they hire a technical director and possibly CEO first. Keep king in post for the rest of the season because they think there is no way we go down. Then new manager in summer.

I mentioned on here that in the new year I went to the Old Firm game. The fans really don't like him - was an odd sensation having watched him for so many years and loved him. The funniest part was that the fans were calling him overweight.....yet it's the trimmest I have seen him in some time!

Tops a weird one. Rudkin helped him navigate life after his dad's death and so now is totally protected. Kasper had to be held back from jumping into the burning helicopter and got let go. The mind boggles.

In a weird way this has energised me and I'm feeling fired up! Now we know. It's a monkey off our back. We have a goal now....survival. None of this 'we can get the play offs' bollocks.
