  1. Yep, ref tonight was pretty good I'd say.
  2. Leeds created more than we did!
  3. I thought Casadei was awful tonight. Fatawu and Mavididi great first half but very subdued second. KDH not his usual dynamic self. We are lacking up front. Vardy offers little these days, and Nacho isn't the answer. We could really do with another striker in January for me.
  4. Enzo had an off one today.
  5. I think people are being kind on QPR really, they were rubbish. We were poor too though which made them look OK. We didn't really get going. I was confident throughout that we were gonna win though. This league is so poor, we only have to be at 60% a lot of the time to get the 3 points.
  6. Can't help but feel we expected the 3 points handed to us on a platter here. Still have faith in us to nick it.
  7. Ipswich winning now.
  8. Poor first half. I have full confidence we'll be significantly better in the second.
  9. I'd take 2nd but it'd take something dramatic (Enzo poached, big run of injuries, etc) to stop us winning the league I feel.
  10. For me, it's so totally and utterly simple. You cannot generate a loud atmosphere when the vast majority of your vocal fans are split into two separate sections. That is, Union FS and that end of the Kop, and L/K Blocks. I sit almost bang on the halfway line, so I can hear both sections. Often you will have both blocks singing different songs at the same time, both of which sound quiet from where I am. On the very rare occasions both sections are singing the same thing, they are usually at least 2 seconds out of time with each other. This invariably makes the song fizzle out. If you could find a way to bring these fans together (and others who feel they can't be vocal where they are), perhaps in a dedicated standing section, or by swapping the Kop and the Family Stand, you'd solve the problem overnight. The club isn't bothered though. On last night, the atmosphere was worse than usual. I think weekday night games generally do have a worse atmosphere. Not having WYS before kick off maybe didn't help, as did the fact Sunderland really took the game to us. Even the Sunderland fans, who travelled in large numbers, were rarely loud. I expected them to really embarrass us but they didn't.
  11. It'll be criminal if we don't win this, we've had enough chances to win 3 games.
  12. FFS Jamie what was that? Just stroke it in!!
  13. Need to up the tempo. Swansea looking decent here.
  14. We had a header towards goal, bounced off the Swansea defender then just hit Vesty in his midriff as he was running towards the goal. He knew nothing about it.
  15. I thought you had to have vouchers or some kind of proof you were on benefits etc to go to food banks?
  16. Any news on the lad?
  17. I thought bringing JJ on was a tactical move (better offensively and more pace to nullify Bristol counterattacks). It's a shame but with Coady nearly back and JJ more than good enough to be playing I'm confident we cope fine without him for now, barring any more injuries.
  18. What shocked me most about the documentary was the social norms of the mid 2000s, it must have been the peak of "lad culture". Stuff being laughed at that would make most uncomfortable today and outright offend others. Some bits were Saville-esque, as if they were straight out of the 70s.
  19. For me he keeps his place in the side now when Coady is fit and Doyle drops to the bench.
  20. I really like it. My only problem is, when the music cuts out, why does everybody fall silent and sit down, rather than belting out the last line?
