Missed the first twenty minutes, along with many others, due to ticket failure at turnstile. I wish it had been the last twenty. Nice goal by Barnes though.

Does any one know why parking has not appeared in ticketing for Villa game?

Man city won't be signing any one of note, if justice prevails and they are in the National League. Hopefully followed by Chelsea.

We need to stop being so nice to visiting teams. Yellow cards a rarity, and usually for something petty and no red cards all season. We need to get back to letting them know they are here for a battle, the crowd would get behind it. Let players like Kane and Son feel comfortable on the ball and you get beat.

The problem is that Forest play like they give a toss,on and off the ball, but our boys look like they are just going through the motions. Down to the manager really but he's just on rinse and repeat, sad thing is I can't see any other top club wanting him now, and taking him off our hands.

I think the WC break will do him good. His running all game style must be knackering. Imagine if Tielemans had his engine.
-
Two that stick in my memory are the record breaking Vardy goal against Man Utd, amazing run by Fuchs down the right wing. And for some reason the late Steve Howard bullet header against Leeds in division one, ground went berserk.

Rodgers proved with Benkovic that he can't fix broken centre half's that we paid big money for. Watch out Wout.

Seagrave, Training Ground or Play Ground

We produced Peter Shilton whilst we trained on Bradgate Park, now we have a top class training ground and can't come up with a decent keeper prospect. It's not rocket science, take big athletic young lads(and lasses) with fast reflexes and a strong mental attitude and coach them intensively weeding out the ones who don't come up to scratch. Seems a keeper can't get into our first team nowadays till they are twenty five, if they are good enough they are old enough should be our mantra. -
He must be in a state of shock now he realises no one, even us, actually want him.
-
Why are we only linked with foreign players? Are there no British players worth looking at in the Championship and below. Overpriced and overpaid foreign players, always looking for their next move, are the reason for the mess we are in at present.
-
New manager could probably rehabilitate him, looks like he has burned his bridges with Rodgers. If we are still in trouble by World Cup Rodgers will go and new manager will have time to work with the cast offs, fresh starts can work.

The clubs should ban away fans, from both games, till they prove they can behave like responsible adults.

Leicester City v Brentford - 7th August 22 2pm

Was always going to happen when the glory hunters disappeared. All the more reason to treat your loyal supporters better. Some of us have been here for decades, whatever division we were in. At least with more capacity all the fads like safe seating, singing sections etc can be catered for without bothering us who just like watching football and supporting our team. -
Going back a bit but Frank Large and cash for Alan Clarke from Fulham. English record deal for £150,000 I believe.
-
Looks like Arsenal want him on the cheap. If they won't stump up and he won't sign a new contract we should bench him and leave his World Cup place in the balance. On last season's performance we won't be missing much.
-
Looking at the fixtures it may be a mixed blessing we're not in Europe. Makes me wonder how top six will fit fixtures in, especially if they go deep into domestic cups. We were knackered last season without the World Cup break. Looks good for a weekend in Brighton again though.

I wonder what managers like Clough, Busby, Shankly and our own Jock Wallace would make of this pantheon of suits recruiting our players with their iPads and endless meaningless stats. They could suss a player on a wet Wednesday night in Rochdale better than this lot. Science is great but having the right attitude to go with skills, like KDH, who couldn't get near to the first team before injuries took their toll, and Justin who seems to have balls a plenty, show the type of footballer we should be looking at rather than paying over the odds on mediocre European players who's stats are good. -
Ridiculous time to play a competitive game. England look like they need a holiday. Will be totally knackered by World cup in November.
-
He won't get the wages that we pay him at a second tier Champions League team abroad. If he wants to run his contract down, and go on a free, we need to push the agenda and either play Ward as number one or bring in a replacement now. He has been a great servant to the club but a season long farewell tour is no good for the team, no one is irreplaceable.

With this incompetent, biased buffoon in charge, what's the odds on Jamie Vardy starting next season on a three game ban?
-
A first for me tonight. For the first time in twenty odd years I didn't have to get up once, for the usual suspects, to go for drinks, pies, toilet etc. There were ten empty seats next to me though.😂

Should not be picked again, terrible attitude, good riddance.

I understood the offside rule for half a century, now I have as much idea as the Mrs. I still say the Wolves winner last week would have been flagged in none VAR games. It really is spoiling the game for spectators, wish we could bin it.
