Coventry (A) - January 17th 12:30pm - Pre Match Thread

At least our players are used to a hostile atmosphere.........at home! -
I predict a couple of loans from premier league at best. We can't afford to keep making the same panic signing mistakes.
-
Took them a while but they know they can bully us now as Sheff United did. We have so many weak players.
-
We have flu so have inadvertently joined the boycott. Pity no darts to watch on TV instead of this game, unlike last week.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

I know he has scored some great goals but he is as aggressive as a wet lettuce in attack. I am never quite sure what position he is playing in as he seems to go anywhere but where the action is. The biggest turning points for us in the past were bringing players like Lennon, Savage, Izzett, Kante,Huth and Morgan in who were triers till the death, sad times. -
I think I'll watch the darts.
-
We are so weak. Out muscled all over the pitch. We even manage to make Bamford look competent.

Stewards not receiving usual food vouchers

I can't imagine a lot of the newer stewards tucking into a sausage roll and crap beer anyway. -
Other than my season tickets I don't spend anything on the club nowadays. Merchandise is substandard and overpriced as is food and drink in the stadium. If people stopped buying it the club would have to up their game rather than treating us as mugs.

Leicester v Middlesboro - Tuesday 4th November

Three buses and rain forecast all night, I may give this one a miss. What happened to the ticket resale platform? :-( -
Watching this boring dross is like death by a thousand cuts. Football used to be my high point but now I am dreading games coming round. If we lose on Tuesday the manager has to go as he obviously can't inspire this bunch of Prima Donna's. I feel sorry for him as he has tried to replace under performing players like Faes, Soumare and Thomas but their replacements seem equally inept. It's a telling point that the loan players James and Ramsey are the only specks of light in a gloomy season.

The only way Daka should get on the pitch is driving a mower.
-
I've put the arsenal game on can't watch this, fear the worst.
-
Strange that we seemed to abandon playing out from the keeper last night. His long kicks seemed ineffective against their centre halves. I dread the second half substitutions lately, I think Monga would be better as a second half impact substitution, Daka, I don't see the point, I wonder who scouted him and what their report was.
-
They obviously managed to get the price down, very uninspiring but I suppose we had no other options even though we seem to be on SKY an awful lot to the detriment of supporters with the god awful kick off days and times designed to ruin your week. If a sponsor is not fit to be on a kids shirt it shouldn't be on the adults.
-
I've had two new knees, a kidney removed for cancer and a stroke in the last four years and still manage to drag my creaking body up the stairs in SK3 for most games to watch total crap football, despite horrific kick off times, so don't expect a lot of sympathy from me for an injury suffered whilst playing for Ghana. Get on with your well paid job and get us back where we belong before disappearing to a top six teams reserves. Sorry feeling grumpy.

Loros are short of funds. I never buy shirts but would if a tenner went to them.
-
Russell Martin, available soon, would be my dream replacement for Big Ange.
-
Was that the season we beat them 1-0 with Salah missing a penalty? Hope so.
-
Myself and my wife, both Oap's, have been using elecctronic season tickets but tried last season's cards on Saturday and they worked. Could be useful if we want to pass them on to friends.
-
What cracked off with the Space Cadet who was sat in the aisle at SK3 yesterday? Police came in and took him away eventually, Stewards useless.

Nelson was terrible in the Huddersfield league cup game.

I took the dog for a walk. Is it worth watching the highlights? -
I can forgive Rogers anything for the FA cup win. Sad we couldn't all be there. My Dad and Grandad went to four finals and never saw a win. At least I have that one up on them in the next life.
