Why bother?
1. It's a hassle transferring it to another car when you get a new car.
It takes about 10 minutes.
2. The car's 'real' number, i.e. the one it was first registered with will probably return to it later on, causing confusion with the log book details and other documentation.

3. When you're driving, you can't see the private number plate yourself anyway.

4. If the car isn't 'posh' other folk will think you're just a poser with a small penis.

5. If the plate is 'fiddled' to read as wanted, it could be an MOT failure.
Have a plate printed that fits DVLA regs and no issue.
