  1. There is business & then business. Football has its own rules & modes. I hate how we have lost our own Leicester born lads who were actually willing to stay, plus a few other potential fan favourite wanted stayers.. FFP might be the correct platform, P&S also... The press releases, incorrect presumption in the public based on repetitive stories... But it is ruining the sports shop window, which some people enjoy & are canniving.. I do feel for Forest & Everton as well as ourselves who have leaned to far out of the window, trying to chase their fans dreams.. And a fair FFP regulations might ruin the actual clean playing field, they are trying to create... Because the media minions love playing with presumption, before cases reach their end solutions & findings..
  2. I love Albrighton.. But part of Enzo remit is to help, build up, developer the younger potentially quite good players.. & use Albrighton around the squad with Odd cameo games or sub... Despite being one of the best crosses in the top 2 leagues.. TO return to him as our nr 1 Winger or WB...would rightly send FT into a rightious movement meltdown.. Fatawu and Mavididi are rightly Enzo's Front presses..
  3. Quite right.... Trouble is when it falls over, root football destroyed.. Roy of the Rovers dies actually murdered.. The money makers, drift off elsewhere, nobody found guilty.. Plastic and foreign football tourist fans drift away.. Old clubs names die... Football stadiums turn into cheaply purposed housing estates.. 2 lads find something round amongst the rubble, they put their jumpers down.. ROY OF THE Rovers rises like the Phoenix... and it all starts with society youth rebellious movements once again. And their daughters better not run off with a boy who has CF or GK dreams... Noooooooooooo,!!!!!!!
  4. https://www.thefosseway.net/viewpoint/leicester-city-changes-top Worth a read and the following fans comments...
  5. Just posted this to keep our relevant business…top priority talking point… Other off field crap is there…but I have stopped wanting to take interest… As a fan my priority is the game against Chelsea…. Then…Bristol City… FFP has to sort itself out…
  6. Shit….but it does always rain and get foggy… or we wouldn’t enyoy Our hot Cocoas, shot of whisky, Irish coffees, weetabix and a good Indian curry on a cold rainy night.. Mystery Foggy nights…close to our mum & dads hot crumpets nights.. or Samosas…
  7. That’s why all our FT posts are so high on QIs crossed with IQs
  8. Indian + Pakistani friends told me about their homeland years ago… So after falling in love with India town, took many friends parents grand parents advice..- Believe me once there ,and you move around…the whole culture & nature, the various Peoples, the extremes…take you over and you fall in love with all of its aspects,perspectives..and the enigma that is the Indian continent & neighbours… You are a guest welcome to stay, because you are there.. Some Europeans should learn from their welcoming souls From the unclean to Sultans & Mirs no matter the drag of the caste system, which one doesnt compare or judge…that’s for when asked. Indian town ain’t India… Are you such an individual that you would expect a foreigner to look at you or your best mate has a single representatives of being British ( if you are) Just questions..no judgement mate..
  9. In the FA cup, I would use the full 5 subs… Fatawu n Mavididi, run themselves in first 50 minutes into the Ground. Then Albrighton n Marcal. Praet if fit..45-50 mins ditto, then Ndidi i would start Cannon, again with the other 3, hard running & pressing. Vardy comes on 60 mins. 1 sub kept ba ck in case of injury, but last 10 mins he can be used, for tiring player. Get at Chelsea from the start…
  10. Now you have tasted it…I hope you can return to 2=3beautiful countries… Northern climes can offer great people, great spectacular dynamic countryside, or round the corners greenery, birds, animals .Assam.Nepal,Bhutan…just about beats Braggie park n Bardon hill.. I advise many to just change their perspectiv of any adventure holiday.. or travel even with kids ( all ages) 6 weeks one can bathe in the exotic of Northern Asia..A bit cooler than Southern Asia, but not always snow,if in the foothills
  11. Did you get to a NP Safari Park…??? Nagarkot…The whole area one could spend a lifetime How is Kathmandu ,Nepal generally after the Earthquake?? I did with my family Nargakot plus trekked Everest old first base camp…an oldertrail to go all the way,10-12days ( with rest days). And kids ( very rare ) Though no nanny approach like today… .No Sherpas, with kids though we mixed with Shepas from other groups..33yrs agoDifferent times .I prefered Annurpurna..both need acclimatisation days. There we’re no part jeeps trails at the beginning like now.It didn’t cost anything !! Around safari parks world wide tourist have to pay,in the years I travelled entry free payed for a ranger to accompany us.sometimes not..free movement. We did. have a couple of nights in lodges, with Our truck parked up,but stayed for some fauna animal education days & evening entertainment…Or just very welcome and cheap government bungalows, discussing /debating over animals and their movement with local or tourist kind ,a few rupees with meals..€6 for whole family max. Sometimes slept in Expedition truck no costs, maps used to follow trails.. Now like S.American sites, Foreigners now have to pay a fair wack…even just to trek….Adventurers of my generation had it cheap..Spent our first safaris nothing 5 -7 night stays and treks zilch nothing ,just pennies in tea houses for simple evening meal & Breakfast,or DIY wild camping.. We were once going upto Nanga Parbat base camp, through fairy meadow…We met Sherpas from a Czech trekking group coming down from elsewhere on their last 2 days, and the Grp and Sherpas, gave us part of their left over goods, for the rest of our trek,Sherpas said it’s all payed for no probs, wanted to leave a donation, because of our kids, they wouldn’t have it..Met & befriended on that trek one of Himalayas famous Guides and Pakistan Sherpas…told u about family his famous Sherpa father…The son crossed our path several times & stopped to talk to us & kids…He had 4 times survived catastrophic climbs. He told us he disliked most Japanese climbers because they in turn had no respect for altitude sickness and wanted to storm the high Himalayan peaks..instread taking rest time-outs.. A great short time passing friend, 2 years after taking the last steps with him he died on climbing ,guiding with a group attempting an ascent on Nanga Parbat..aptily called killer mountain..
  12. I agree.. It's just Joe blogs & football fans didn't realize the outside resources effect, and how big that bandwagon became... Plus modern fans seem to love the soap-operas antics around the game, and chasing the Köder around the pond of clickbait. The generations are what they are, Youngsters who rebel are just building their own generations Status Quo, their want of change produces their own kids rebel forage.. which in trn is part of all of us... Do real fans want change.. Does me thinking I am right, means others agree with my common sense.
  13. It was deep past planning stages before FFP worries landed on our doorstep
  14. For remembrance a photo of me taken by my daughter, before she asked me to shave last week for my Birthday. My wheelchair slipped out from under me.. She has called me Yeti for 40 years..
  15. Go to most parks in Europe or capital city parks, Councils and Peoples are proud of their environment & parks and are richly decorated through the seasons with flowers…Paris Parks one feels very comfortable or other towns presentations are just a natural event…. The Brit councils. Famous promenade gardens in the holiday towns Torquay,Paighton, old beautiful Bournemouth,Grt.Yarmouth promenade was full of floral displays, our own Abbey Park with boating lake and nice appointed floral decorations. We can’t even keep our holiday gems to their post war beauty. Italy,S.France, Germany,Holland,Czech stand proud even in their suberbia.. Why has the English ASBO taken over the streets…it was a coincidence why I left and stayed away ,and become an expat. But I have spoke to many various expats In Europe..most is work or that adventure spirit related, but talk positively of their home. I haven’t yet in my years found one British expat that yearns for that homeland…often “it’s a dump” and no pride or desire from Government or the peoples circles…Before or after covid, just because it’s right..wash your hands after work before meal ….A lot of sportsmen/women will automatically have a shower, but I used to see Brit acquaintances that wouldn’t have a good scrub down especially on & over the weekend nights out….again Among my old friends new friends an automatic duty. The drink culture in UK,through all classes is “krank” I played Rugby & participated in Athletics, we played hard drank hard, but we controlled our limits…The British young and old …sorry louts, when visiting now my European neighbours is quite embarrassing…Though I have met some not scouts younger groups, who can drink, but saunted into France away from their own drunkard countrymen in Spain While on holiday ..TV loose women discussing their tipple nearly everyday as a normal expected nuance..and seemed to take pride in getting clobbered. My German wife didn’t or couldn’t drink any Vinzer or Kneipe dry,but she was happy over evenings in the company of beer drinkers, her farming hard working brothers,. She knew and trusted that her brothers and me knew our boundaries… The Brits seem to have lost the whole bloody location
  16. We go for this..A mix of young talent and experience, and if 99% or 69% of our players are fit…our pivotal position we have to get right and must have a good game is that guy who sits with KDH & Winks the no8 spot has become vital and pivotal to our success.. Ndidi.. we need first choice Praet..Not yet in that position had a serious bad game, been solid and deliver on Several occasions Ricardo, great alternative, but then we miss him as the inverted FB Akgun..not yet brought his full potential when picked for 65-75 minute game Though done well when he has cameoed in that position Mcateer..Again done well when he has covered and a cameo, not yet tried for first 70- 85 minutes Enzo needs a gamefit Ndidi…if not quite gamefir..let him start for 50-60 mins. Enzo will need some masterclass descision to see us through..
  17. Many old a city centre or major areas are themselves museums.from different epochs. These areas are as clean as one could ever hope, and puts UK in its restoration projects and long over drawn out mini or major projects often to shame. Lovely Quiet or boisterous festivals enjoyed by the young as well as the aged traditionalist… When you travel never take the perspective with you, that our customs and ways are better..each foreign country have ways that are different, one of the best difference is the welcoming that one gets, also from tourist areas.. That said Italy has a lot of tourist scams & pickpockets of various skills, pushed high with foreign incomesrs ( but one doesn’t go down that channel in polite circles),though one could live or travel over years & never be a victim…Italians can also demean their own country…just use common sense..I found the Police & town workers, very helpfull…Plus to eat stray away from tourist routes,or be peacefully brash & friendly with your hotel staff 1-4 star and ask where the locals go to eat,or find a hidden busseling market treasure around the corner, they will be nearer local simple restaurants…decor is not the proof of decent faire, but again a good spread of tables but a short menu could also deliver a decent evening. Bars or bistros with local music in the towns or in the country can add to your experience. Learn a few Italian phrases,it helps one to enjoy any country more.. Tuscany..natural spa’s..with natural free entry to hot streams and rivers, with boxes to put and secure your clothing or an organise enclose natural spring with entry fee is also one can easily find if touring…take a look at this… https://www.holidaypirates.com/travel-magazine/natural-hot-springs-around-italy-free-visit Having a Thermal natural waters, with <<Monte>>winery visits is a great way to tour Tuscany or whole of Italy . Florence is beautifull so much to offer…Chianti & Barolo are you macho enough for Florence T bone steak..or just half the cut rib-eye especially after pre-booking a day in their famous Uffici museums card.. Verona..Arena do Verona, just visit,or better visit and see it in the day, then return After a nice meal for the seasons opera…Take the tickets high on the steps and instead of that expensive restaurant take a picnic with a fine wine Listening on the steps to the finest operas in the world for a decent price…
  18. But ain’t it aright for a club,no matter how blindly, who earn the right,to ask and say, we have achieved & earnt the right to try… I don’t understand this defeatist attitutude,, even if we get promoted with nothing to sell… forgetting the trials and tribulations of Leicesters own on-field achievements & off-field persecutions correct or incorrect.. In these coming years 40-70% of English clubs are going to go through P&S or FFP charges..whether they ride their own created storm.. we have to wait to see how time leaves a mark over European football especially the PL & Championship world. At present one can speculate on outcomes, but if it’s a storm in a tea cup, with media speculation wirrbling it up to OTT hights & clubs come out hard hit but honour intact Football business will still change simply because the threat was there & clubs were on the cusp…Astronomical transfers & wages might be a thing of the past, but order is returned to an unknown reset or will die a death because relevant businesses people won’t learn..OR Football takes a massive hit…FFP & the rest of the regulators finds grounds that a large nr of clubs through PL & EFL are close to being ruined and left with little movement for financial player investment… i) Clubs will struggle to hold a competitive level..but ii) its happening to an high % of clubs that will mean iii). A massive pool of quality high rated players…will iv) with their agents have to accept lower contractual perks and resumeration, this v) in turn will lower agents expectations on transfers & player exchange…so ## Football will be forced to change it attitude in selling its products. Rich clubs won’t vanish but they & football through all level will have to change…Strangely the clubs like Forest ,Everton,Leicester ,Chelsea might find their way on softer ground because they were forced to learn the hard way, and though high or a couple of times points lost, will have things in place that Will help them to understand quicker how to use their player investments situation better… in the merry are go round of life we are at the beginning of another epoc of football life, even if PL & other European leagues stay ,a slap wrist, survival balance will see us see another change in various power-field areas..Players & agents in a strange way , might lose out on some of their wage demands..Club’s finances will be not in cloud cuckoo land..There is however as I see it, a lot of pain that clubs & their fans will have to go through, with enough meltdowns to keep our Sunday roast reading frustrated & confused for years…
  19. Wow, wow.. 70 wows AND hell of a lot of thanks to all members of Foxestalk for the congrats-posts.. .. I have just recovered from yesterday great family celebrations and A cancer control... I have received somewhat great but deep down still on edge.. Information. My Cancer Therapie hasn't eradicated or healed my worlds one of many Terminal Cancer situations.... but for some reason... It's thankfully.. Phenomenally stagnated in suspension. It's gave me sofar.... 2 unexpected Christmases 3 Birthdays. Beyond prediction.. Wow.. I am sort of in a positive twighlight zone... Life's gave me.. with my other accumulative health hits.. 18months has Suddenly become so far 3 n half years... Many FTers have helped me through those 1st few months, just by taking interest or mailing to me.. I suffer everyday from pain and the direct posts have help me through the day... The family has always been behind me... and 45 yrs ago that story started when I hit the lottery.... MY model-looking wife who along with her beauty proved she was hardious & took all the rough and what was thrown at Expeditions around far flung places.. Now she is at my side taking on the crap I am going through and like with the family has been our phycologist, doctor, nurse, companion-advisors.. Love knows no bounds.. both sides. Many of you have understood My take on life and situations... Life is... "It is what it is.." When allowed "We go again"... Why I like Enzo I suppose, there are no free cards.. Life gives & takes as nature rolls, I have hit troughs fell through crevasis, but also climbed the crests and rode nature's challenges.. Solved many a thing that crossed My path, Just that single mystical quandary called Leicester city leaves me in that fan zone of "WTF".. . Posiive/negative. Vibes Over these 70yrs I have also learnt to be humble towards other people's and others own difficult struggles many a lot worse than anything I have had to experience... Dangerous roads, unknown trails. dark jungle or mountain paths or working in volatile life endangering projects were my enjoyable happy times.. SO seeing suffering or other people's struggles & life's given challenges. Channels one to respect and try to understand.. ALL what is served at life's and nature's table.. Again a tankard of grateful thanks to you all..... IT'S NOT WRONG having the outlook and approach whether one has a great or bad day.. of.. " We go again.." .
  20. Jakub Cover Coady Nelson Doyle Winks Albrighton Nacho KDH Marcal Cannon subs: Vestergaard,Vardy,Daka,Ndidi,Akgun,Choudhury,Justin Mavididi,Mcateer
  21. We are not the only club, having to roll with the Wardy situation.. Its always happened…Its now the finances bamboozle us all. Many clubs have to carry such players…. myself I would ask my agent,to get me a team so I can play. Its not just doing it for wife & kids, your own career takes presidence even if you tell ‘em I am playing for Exeter next season… but it won’t happen
  22. If. You have an ideology,a belief in a proven developing system .You don’t suddenly change it,into something you haven’t even considered.. Look at one of the greatest cricket bowlers in history…McGrath. He had his system tweaked it,but was always one of the most precise bowlers, ever to have a ball in his hand .Batsman new where he would bowl, over years…. They couldn’t do to much about it…Even on bad days or periods,he was difficult to get away… Why should Enzo & squad panic, change the whole chaos because, it might misfire …in results or fall off in periods.. plus t(is fan forum is simply chaotic in their manic meltdowns… Today was a damn good enjoyable game…Faes lost the ball in a normal everyday situation , it lead to a goal..fffs sake CBs are doing this week in week out,it was a lack of concentration & he got caught out..it happens, look at the times he’s put in great tackles…keep it together fellas.. AGAIN…it was an enjoyable watchable game…& FTers just keep missing it,because they start by preparing to be frustratingly tense & already on the cusp of meltdown.
  23. FFP ,and the various media already knocking us down, predicting minus points. Doesnt really motivate the managers in this position
  24. The fans running crap non exsistence commentary through the game is the problem…Just set on negative..we make several chances which fans don’t see, we create movement which we think don’t count, because we were writing bunk.
  25. Work out the moves that got the penalty…
