To be really honest, mate, the rumours that get posted in here are so rubbish that you might as well be discussing Patson Daka or fish puns. You're not missing any serious news.

**** off man, I thought we got on.

Yeah that ones actually a bit sus.

I'm pretty sure I have more followers than that guy and I'm not on twitter.

Lol for this sub forum? Certifiable insanity. And I say that having volunteered for Transfer Talk.

Oh tbf, I'm only playing Havoc I think it's called. The battlefield mode. I got zero interest in extraction shooters. -

Got on the Delta Force Hawk Ops alpha. It's pretty much a hybrid of peak era COD meets peak era Battlefield. Little bit hard to tell exactly at the moment because there's a lot of bots in the alpha but it's very stable and very polished for a very early test build. Really well optimised, looks decent, not too much jank. Gun play is decent. -
As long as Winks, Skipp and Bergwijn all get a runout we'll be fine. Football Manager has taught me you always score against your old club on debut.

I've been proudly trash tier since 2006

Downgrading them as a source...

No we didn't. Last year we bought a player called Abdul Fatawu on the condition we got promoted and used the loan system to circumnavigate PSR regulations for the 23/24 season. (I don't disagree that this is a sensible deal btw but I think Fatawu doesn't prove your point, if anything he hurts your argument because he was exactly what people want this deal to be.)

Financial doping. We paid Chelsea £4m for Goulding so that they could increase their offer for KDH to a level that let us avoid a second points deduction without them also being non compliant. Goulding is an accounting trick, I'll personally be surprised if he ever plays for us.

Tbf for all we know that could be 5m we can't spare in a position that Cooper doesn't consider a priority. If he's persisting with this shape then we're probably looking at a depth option with Winks and Wilf starting the season as the two at the base of midfield. We're hideously desperate for attacking midfielders, potentially a a striker and - if he's stubbornly sticking with this shape, nobody is say it but - a creative attacking left back. All more important than a CM if Cooper is sticking around.

In fairness, he did have some considerable competition. At the right price, he'd be a pretty decent signing for us. He's almost certainly better than anything we currently have and would add threat. The issue is whether or not we pay thirty odd million for him at the cost of better choices with higher ceilings.

... Pretty sure that's exactly my point, pal

Yeah but the reaction is just the reality of our situation hitting home for people isn't it. It's obviously not a great look. We're supposed to be Brighton, not getting their charity.

I thought that with Rodgers. I loved the flip flop of "oh yeah I'm such a genius coach I want broken players because I can fix them" so the club gives him exactly what he wants so he cries that we've got too many young players that need coaching. Twat.

Yeah, we're skint.

I think Glover is a bit under rated in that regard. Mavididi, Fatawu, Hermansen were all pretty left field. And by all accounts it looks like this year we've scouted and shown legitimate interest in Richard Rios, Ramon Sosa, Mathias Soulé etc. But supposedly the manager wants us to focus on targets with more domestic, preferably Premier League experience. I'm guessing a lot of these are targets we scouted with Enzo in mind and now there's a mix going on of we can't afford them and Cooper isn't keen.

The banter if they sign Greenwood and Wahi in the same window

That's such an unflattering photo
