  1. That is an absolute joke. They really have absolutely made a mess of the handball law.
  2. Raj is fully aware of what he said.
  3. Mihăilă and Man were with Enzo at Parma, no? Could have been great signings...
  4. In before everyone starts calling Romania dark horses
  5. Shite keeping but lovely hit. So satisfying watching Marin hit that.
  6. The Turkish league in general historically hasn't always really. But Gala have stumped up a bit over the last few years. To be clear, I'm only talking like 15-25m, not like hundreds of millions. But compared to most of the clubs in Spain and Italy they're fairly cash rich recently. Edit: although now I'm writing this, I just got a flashback. I might have seen a TIFO video recently saying that it was due to a change in laws that the Turkish government then recently revoked, so I might be talking out of my arse?
  7. Gala might not be the worst interested party. They've thrown a bit of cash about recently but they're still only limited to players that want to play in Turkey. Might be one of the few clubs that might actually over pay for him.
  8. Legally Blonde couldn't even hope to have a soundtrack this good. As the kids say, this goes hard. No cap.
  9. You know who probably didn't need convincing? Josh Low.
  10. Ngolo Kante needed convincing. People get weirdly emotional about shit in football. If someone accepts the job they accept the job.
  11. Okazaki Okazaki, Okazaki, Okazaki, Okazaki Okazaki, Okazaki, Okazaki, Okazaki, Vardy, Okazaki
  12. I mean, he's genuinely a Champions League quality footballer and he'd been relegated to the second tier. I'm impressed he even considered staying.
  13. Wait wtf Ayoze Perez is in Spain squad
  14. One of my favourite ever players. I'd be gutted if he left.
  15. He's had more good games for Wales than Leicester but he's also had some howlers. "Played some absolute blinders for Wales" is definitely an exaggeration.
  16. THA'S JUS TYPICUL O WOR E IS
  17. I love that the refs in our country are so shite we have to go to a different continent, when broadcasting the Euros, to get a ref pundit.
  18. This could get messy. Germany wanting to make a statement.
  19. So, if, let's say purely theoretically here, you know, in a parallel universe. Bear with me, you'll need to use your imagination a bit. But let's say we were facing an impending points deduction, that could relegate us and thus financially cripple the club, due to massive spending breaches when we went hideously over budget, would that be a Rudkin issue?
  20. ... No, but he has to understand our budget and the implications of our spending within the rules...? Honestly, I think you're the only one that doesn't really get what a DoF does.
  21. I'm sorry but even the most ardent Rudkin apologist would have to accept that managing the personnel in the squad is the absolute crux of his job. The entire raison d'être of a Director of Football is that Head Coaches are hired and fired in such short terms in modern football that a longer term employee of the club needs to be in charge of building and sustaining a squad (and, in theory, it's footballing identity.) Rudkin exists, if nothing else, to make sure we have both a competitive and an affordable squad. That's the absolute minimum of "HiS ReMiT." The fact we got relegated with the most expensive squad to ever go down, not to mention the fact we have multiple charges against us for spending breaches in the Premier League, is all the evidence you need that he's had significant failings in his position over the last two to three years.
