  1. We bottled 19/20 big time. We went from being in a title race to absolute collapse. Our form in the second half of the year was embarrassing, it's easy to blame COVID but we actually started dropping off before then. And I'll die on this hill, we had the 3rd best team in the league that year. We were up there on merit. People forget how shit Arsenal, United, Chelsea et all were. This is Chelsea with a transfer ban having to start all their kids ffs. Tammy Abraham vs a peak Jamie Vardy? Come on. But 20/21, eh. The Big Six closed the gap and despite that Liverpool and Chelsea started poorly. They went on the rampage late in the season and just caught us up. The last game of the season we definitely bottled it but on the whole our form was consistent all year it's just those two hugely improved their points per game. I think Rodgers delivered below par in 19/20 and par in 20/21 given the quality of our team vs where we finished.
  2. All foxestalk jokes aside, fear. People understand that there is a lot at stake. This is one of the most important years for the future of the club in a long time. That and we've all seen us bottle it enough times in recent years to feel very uneasy right now.
  3. Lautaro's was so bad you could convince me he took a bribe
  4. Two of the best pens you'll ever see followed by several of the worst
  5. Incredible late chances in both games amazing
  6. Inter like us as well. Butchered a few great chances should have been two goals up before they even conceded.
  7. Swapped over to the Inter game at half time. Literally just got up for a piss. Stepped one foot in the toilet and heard the cheers for the goal. 🤦
  8. This is the sort of thing that relegates a team.
  9. Oh is it on? Didn't think they did that when it's only two games.
  10. More than that isn't it. Dortmund commit a lot of bodies forward, he gets a marauding full back to link up with, an attacking midfielder, a forward, the centre mids pushing on. There's always bodies around to play off and they all absolutely graft and run all day. United signed him and then expected him to basically play on his own. They play such shit football with such a lazy squad of prima donnas.
  11. I've picked the wrong ****ing game again 🙈
  12. BVB looking amazing atm. Really entertaining.
  13. Yeah it's made an excellent start. Can't fault anything about it so far. Tbf as soon as they cast Hiroyuki Sanada I was a fan but the rest of the cast are spot on.
  14. Yeah nukes have almost vanished since the last tweak to be fair. Still a few people chucking them around but a lot more risky because you have to pop them very short range. Mostly I just use the red canisters raw to get through walls.
  15. This is ****ing amazing.
  16. Just stop there. It's an anthology, every season is a complete different case and story so you aren't really missing anything if you stop. Season 1 is one of the best seasons of crime drama ever made, it's fantastic. But season 2 fell so flat on it's face, season 3 is an extremely average season just sort of propped up by Mahershala Ali being extremely watchable and season 4 is a train wreck. If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend you sack it off and watch Fargo instead as I'm sure @Tuna will agree with. It's got a similar vibe, Fargo is Cohen brothers inspired so it's got that slightly quirky sense of off beat humour breaking up some of the bleakness (but then I guess the relationship between Rust and Marty was pretty funny at times) where as True Detective takes itself a bit more seriously. I think they scratch a similar itch but Fargo is just absolutely superb, incredible casting, good writing, good stories, good characters throughout and in Lorne Malvo, Hanzee Dent and in VM Varga it's got some TV's most iconic villains. And if you have seen Fargo and didn't need this post, sod it, I hope someone else reads this and watches it.
  17. After getting a stealth launch before Christmas, The Finals has chugged along quietly going about its business with very little hard marketing but a really active developer putting out constant updates, content and balances. Season 1 was a lot of fun but largely used as like a continuation of the beta. Season 2 about to come on Thursday bringing a lot of new content for each specialisation. They're also promising a lot more promotion and expecting the player base to grow. Any of you already playing? Any of you thinking of trying? Personally think it's the most fun I've had in a shooter since the "classic" days of COD and, to a lesser extent, Battlefield before both got shit. Really nice to have a solid, very well made and really fun FPS that isn't a ****ing BR or survival game.
  18. 100%. Exactly.
  19. Behave. There is absolutely no chance William really took that photo. I didn't believe that when it was first published tbh. It looked extremely obviously like a professionally taken photo. They're the Royal Family, William isn't just out there casually on Insta uploading selfies, memes and pictures of his dinner is he? Everything is vetted and checked. Everything they are in the public eye is staged and posed. Nobody expects anything else. Which is what makes it so baffling. They could have done literally anything else. Could even have just posted nothing at all. Nobody other than the extreme weirdos that obsess over the royals would have even noticed the absence of a Kate Middleton post on mother's day. This was an obviously very staged PR stunt, that's not being conspiratorial and paranoid it's just what the 2020s are. But it was a very, very, very bad one.
  20. Don't particularly have an opinion on the royals but it is really, really stupid PR in the modern age. They literally could have just posted any candid picture of her with her kids from some point in the last year (preferably in the summer or something so it's obvious they're not trying to be deceitful), there must be hundreds, and put a message on it saying happy mothers day and get well soon. Everyone knows by now she's ill, it wouldn't be that shocking. To do this in an age where everyone is double and triple checking everything for signs of AI and human manipulation of photos is spectacularly dumb. Now they've just amped up all of the speculation and conspiracy theories by 100%.
  21. Yeah it clearly was. They just bottled it. Can imagine the VAR just not wanting any part in deciding a game that's balanced as a reasonable and harmless draw
